My appointment was with Tim, but he was called away unexpectedly for a few days, and it was my good luck to have JAckson help me on Saturday morning. Although he told me it could be a two to three hour wait, I was only there for 90 minutes, and that included a complimentary car wash. I was out of there in no time, and Im happy to know that on my next service call, i can count on such efficient and friendly service. Thanks, SouthBay!

We ordered and purchased our 2018 Mini Countryman All 4 SE Plug in Hybrid from South Bay Mini This is the second car weve purchased from So Bay Mini. They are easy to work with and helpful every step of the process. We built ours on-line and got to watch it cross the Atlantic and through the Panama Canal coming into port. Fun. Now we get to drive it and learn about all the new features.

"Great Shopping Experience, Excellent Service"
Came on a Sunday evening - 6:30pm. Posted hours are 10-7pm and there wasnt any hesitation whatsoever in explaining process for purchase. More importantly, Tyler Lappen (ask for him) was patient, thoughtful, and very friendly. Tyler was also very knowledgable, explaing different components of the car, synching my iPhone (Blue Tooth) to the car computer, making sure it worked, and talking it through with me. When I was ready to purchase, Tyler while serving as the go-between me and the manager was clearly on my team. He went to bat for me, articulated how close we were to a deal, and made sure it would happen. A rarity in these days. In addition, the manager was very good, friendly and the rest of the staff (on a Sunday night) made sure that my paperwork was processed, my car detailed, and everything ready to go. I was also told about the VIP service including free car washes for the life of my car. The service plan also seems very good and Im pleased with the level of professionalism. But really, what sold me was the overall friendliness of the business - but that I belive was set from the beginning with Tylers approach and knowledge base. It was a pleasure to do business with Tyler Lappen and South Bay MINI - they will get my future referrals and business.

Tyler made the purchase of my 2013 Hardtop so easy and pleasant, never thought I would say those words about a car salesman or motoring advisor which I think they prefer to be called :). I never felt pressured or overwhelmed; Tyler was respectful of my wishes and didnt try to sell me something that I didnt want. He sold me my MINI and it was so refreshing to have a car salesman be upfront and honest with you and not try to sell you something you are not comfortable buying. George stayed late on a Saturday night to make sure all of the paperwork and everything else was settled so I could drive off the lot with my MINI. Since the purchase in September, I have contacted George and he has been very responsive answering my questions and making sure I am happy with the used MINI I bought. After being told that I cant lease or finance a car at all by Long Beach Mini Dealership as I dont have a Credit History (coming from abroad on my H1B Visa, which expires in 26 months), LISSETT CALDERA made my dreams come true!!!! Lissett is nicest person in sales that Ive ever met, she did her best to figure out a way to make it possible for me to lease a black Mini Cooper HT. After sending in all the required documents, she always kept me in the loop with the procedure and was always reachable for any questions I had, even on her day off:). I bought my mini cooper and it was an experience. It was my first real big purchase and a huge decision but Ive been wanting for a mini cooper for the longest time. George Ledesma is the guy to go to. He was amazing. I told him what I was able to afford and he helped me out. He was always real positive, friendly, and real. He wasnt pushy or stern like what I was expecting from a car salesman. Even after I drove my mini off the lot George sent me an email checking up on my new car and how I was doing. Even now when I have a question dealing with my car he always follows up with an email right away. If you ever want to get a car there I def. recommend meeting up with George guy is really easy to talk to and if it for wasnt for the price he gave me id probably be riding in something less than i expected .

This place serves fresh MINIs piping hot and at smokin prices. I Searched all over the westside for my car and South Bay, by chance or perhaps fate, had the exact car I was looking for. I found my car moments after pulling in and grabbed the closest salesman I could get my hands on. I had my game-face on and was ready to dig my heels in for an epic clash-of-the-titans negotiation, but the salesman, Mr. Yang, and the manager agreed to my third offer. I smiled and shook their hand, but kept cool and collected :) We managed to wrap everything up in about 2 hrs. I still hold on to Mr. Yangs card in case I have any questions.

my gf got a MINI here a few weeks ago. Great dealership and everyone was super nice and welcoming! I ended up speaking with Timmy Yang, who was referred by friends and people online. Timmy is the best and easiest sale person to deal with just as what people told me! No BS! He is not the pushy type who would force you to get something more expensive. He looks at all the factors such as how much you drive, whether it will be garage kept, which color is more likely to trap heat, and which is the easiest to clean, your driving style, and what you care and not care to be on the car before he determines what suit you best and add his professional recommendations. Since MINI has many different packages and options, he was patient enough to explain the car from head to toe, inside out. He also let us play around with all the features in multiple cars. I felt bad taking almost 8 hours of his time before we even consider buying. BUT, ended up getting one from him anyways. This guy really knows about cars, I think he said he has been in the industry for quite some time, and he had work at BMW before. Great customer service, and sold my girlfriend what she wanted!!! Timmmmmmy FTW! I hope he is not seeing this, or he might think we are creepers. lol

So I really needed a new car. A new car with a/c, and some oomph under the hood. Id looked at a few cars recently, but my bf suggested we just go check out the minis at South Bay BMW/Mini before we made any final decisions, and once I got in an S, I was hooked. I bought a 2011 clubman S from Amy Siu (whos brand new, and a total peach, shell take care of ya with a quickness). I got a great deal on a car with a lot of options (double sunroof! power everything! BMW/Mini VIP buttkissing service warranty!), and the place was so chill compared to every dealership Ive been in previously. Ive dealt with having a GM made car for the last 5 years. That meant being literally ignored and dismissed for being a female at their service centers. I am SO excited to have a Mini now, and a great dealership that hustles when you have an issue with your car. Seriously, if you get a BMW or Mini after having an american car, your life will change. Those service warranties are worth it.
