"Absolutely The Worst Service I Ever Received"

Do yourself a favor and look for a car elsewhere. If you want to use Hertz I highly recommend going to another dealer (theres another in Boston). This company in Revere was absolutely awful. They were great up until they received my check for the car and then things went downhill. They kept charging money for a rental car that I obviously bought. They then refused to answer any of my calls about receiving my title and registration. I had to call corporate at least 6x to intervene to get them to cancel the rental on the car, to get title, to get my registration so I could insure the car. I spent over 2 weeks not being able to drive a non-registered non insured car. There is another Hertz dealer very close by ~ do yourself a favor and head in that direction.

Wonderful car buying experience!! I normally dread going to car dealerships and having to sit through the high pressure "buy now" or regret it forever sales tactics. You all know the drill, the manager coming down from the high tower to give me a "special deal" I cant refuse. Im sure everyone is familiar with that song and dance. But that was totally not the case at Hertz Car sales in Boston. I appreciated that there were no high pressure sales tactics, surprise fees or hidden costs. -- I originally had some reservations buying a former rental car. But after doing some serious research and shopping around for weeks at dealers across New England, comparing prices and condition I ended up buying a former rental at Hertz. Calling around, I come to discover all the major dealers sell huge number former rental cars. And the major dealers wont tell you unless you ask. So ultimately I got a great deal on a 2013 Town & Country at Hertz, thousands below dealer prices, in great cosmetic and mechanical condition. John Demarco was especially knowledgeable, fair and honest. Id recommend these guys to anyone.

The sales guys (both named John) were great to work with. They found us a gently used 2012 Chevy Malibu for my sons first car purchase. The price was right. It was a no haggle pricing that was less than $1000 more than another 2010 Malibu we looked by another dealership. For a little more money, we got a much newer car with far fewer miles. The car had some minor blemishes that they were happy to have corrected. I will go back in one year when its time to replace my car. If you dont at least check them out for your next new car purchase, you will be spending too much.

I hate car shopping! The back and forth, the amount of time you spend waiting...waiting for someone to help you, waiting for dealers to get keys or to check with their manager. No one seems to understand that having two kids under the age of three means that you have to be quick if you want my business. Hertz was such an awesome experience. The lot is in a secure area so ALL of the cars are open and have the keys in them. It was so easy to check out and sit in whatever car we wanted to. John (our salesman) and Ken (handled our trade-in) were very friendly and easy to work with. There was no pressure whatsoever to purchase anything and when we found our car, we already knew what the price was. The test drive was just the right length and the buying process was almost perfect. We got a great price for our trade-in and they gave us the use of a conference room to keep the kids entertained while we signed paperwork. I know there is hesitancy about buying rental cars when they come off the fleet, but the cars were extremely clean and well taken care of. I highly recommend!
