Car needed a normal service. Dealer found a broken part that needed replacement but didnt have the spare available, Need to return which is good as the car Status still says it needs a service and break fluid check. Thought these would be reset ready for the next service interval.

Repairs were done relatively quickly (there was a long list!) and they discovered two issues still covered by the factory warranty. One of those was teplacement of the battery, which they did with no problem. I have read of other Mini dealerships where they have refused to cover battery replacement. Overall a very efficient and well-run iperation.

So my experience started out not so great, with a sales specialist who is no longer with their team. Which turned out to be a spectacular thing because I was handed off to Mariah who is absolutely wonderful. Actually every other member of the team was spectacular. They went out of their way to make me feel super comfortable. Mariah reached out regularly with updates and always responded promptly when I had questions throughout the process. She even helped get me to the airport to drop off a rental car I had so I didnt have to uber back after picking up my new car. Mariah is doing double duty supporting finance as well, so when I arrived she was helping another customer. She set me up with Marco who was an absolute pleasure to give me a detailed tour of my car and help me configure the settings to my liking. What an awesome dude. In this business there are some things you cant control, like drop in customers and hour long credit applications, but these two did their absolute best to make it super pleasant and fun. I was even offered an appointment to come back and get a more detailed tour to answer any questions that come up in the first weeks of ownership. An experience super similar to Apple. No pressure but lots of resources available to you if you want them. Some things to keep in mind though: - There is new customer parking by the service center but some of it is reserved for test drive cars. Keep an eye out for tiny cones. - The standard warranty for Mini has changed and doesnt cover nearly as much, so give the extended warranty options a real listen - You can put part of your down payment on a credit card, so pay that bill before you go to sign the paperwork if you want to get some extra points

Overall great experience! I finally transitioned from my 10 year old mini to a new 2017 Mini and I couldnt be happier. Robert was incredibly patient throughout the process and I never felt any pressure nor did I feel rushed to make a decision. Although I loved my 2005 Mini, I couldnt be more thrilled with all the new features and the smooth and solid ride of my new Mini...every single person I have dealt with at the Stevens Creek dealership was thoughtful and very helpful, particularly Robert Roberts (as well as the CFS Manager, Gifford Chan). Yaopeng Wang, a.k.a., Beyond, was the young man who worked hard and patiently to help me determine the best car to fit my needs. After doing a search, looking at and discussing the various options, test driving the different models, we narrowed it down to the basic Clubman with a sun/moonroof. I ultimately purchased that (2017) model with pepper white body and black top which, after a week, Im very happy with. Beyond didnt pressure me or try to "upsell" me, or attempt to push me to move to make a decision sooner than felt comfortable. He just listened carefully to what I needed, what my concerns were, worked with his manager to offer me a fair price, and now Im a first time owner of a Mini Cooper.

I bought my mini here 3 years ago and drive up from monterey to have them work on "her" because of their great customer care.
