My husband and I just bought a home as well and they both did their best to accommodate us with our car payments. The process was a tad long and it had snuck into our lunchtime, but Rene went out of his way to buy us snacks and made sure we were taken care of. They definitely tried to go above and beyond. My only recommendation is that they review the ending paperwork a little more thoroughly. We had questions afterwards when we got home, but they did respond and took the time to answer our questions.

Yesterday, we purchased a car from STG Auto, and the entire experience from start to finish was an excellent, because Walid offered the best and most personable excellent quality of customer service we have ever received across retail and other customer service offerings. Contact with STG started with Mike who was hospitable as well, and carried on to Walid as he made sure the cars we wanted too see and test drive were available quickly. The entire staff at STG offer a friendly and courteous environment with patience and nice cool refreshments. Everyone there welcomes you with a genuine smile and were very professional throughout the transaction and answered questions we had patiently. I highly recommend Walid, because he was very calming and assuring as I was nervous purchasing a vehicle from a dealership. ( I hadnt done it in over 10 years). He made me laugh and listened as I voiced my concerns about financing and other car buying jitters. but made the experience an overall pleasant one. We got a great car, for a great price, and I am happy with STG Auto Group in Montclair and look forward to purchasing another car from them in the future. As well, in the evening, I had to return to drop off a pink slip for my trade in and it was kind of late, pass 8 and everyone there were still happy and offered great customer service. I was shocked Walid waited for the pink slip, but was happy, and the deal was completed. He was Awesome with my little boy, who was in a happy, but tired mood. The other genuinely kind members of the STG Family, even offered him some lollipops which goes a long way with my son!

"Horrible Experience."

These people should win a metal for the best time-wasters of all time. Came in here and dealt with Carlos. Mistake one- promises the world and cant deliver. After leaving to get cash for a down payment, I come back to tell them Im ready to make a deal and was given another sales rep and told that this Carlos dude was on vacation. Sales manager Kal (short for some other long name) called me asking for me to come down with a deposit. I specifically told him I had X amount as a down payment, and his response was "yeah, we can work with that. Lets schedule an appointment with me and well make it work". So I go there, and hes not even there.... I was given a new sales guy and eventually they told me a completely different story from what Carlos and Kal told me and would need a ridiculous amount of money down- more than I was already told that I needed to put down that I had cash with me to do. On another note too: NO ONE talks to each other over there. Multiple times I would talk to someone, and someone else would call me asking me if Ive been helped... Even now- after walking away from them, I just got a call from someone asking if I was able to make it in, and if I was still interested in a car... NO! Stop calling me, I dont want to do business with you people. Go elsewhere. These dudes are crazy.

We were greeted by Freddy Melik, who was expecting us for our appointment. He made us feel comfortable guided us to the car we were interested in.  To our surprise, the car had printed label with our name on it as reserved for our showing only. Couldnt have been happier! at that moment. Freddy Melik was a "non-pushy" salesman who was friendly, patient, and thoroughly went over my options without persuading me. The manager, finance team,  and all came to meet my expectations when we sat down to negotiate and run numbers. As a first-time buyer; thanks for treating me as the family! I must say that this was my best car shopping experience ever. Freddy was very informative and he was answering every question of ours patiently. I originally had found the car on the online inventory system and within 24 hours appointment booked and next day, I was driving Mercedes C250 Coupe AMG package off the lot!! From the start, the customer service was phenomenal, they were very fair in pricing, and the purchasing process was so smooth! If I needed another car, I would purchase it at STG Auto Group, they have an amazing selection of high quality cars. Nowadays, it commonly is seen that car salesman just don’t do enough good job and their only objective is to get money out of your wallet. But, salesman-like Freddy Melik delivers an incredible service and gives a very pleasant experience. I will for sure recommend them to my family and friends.

Below was my response to an email I received almost 2 months later: Hello... I wish I could tell you thank you for the opportunity as well but for the following reasons I can not. My husband and I was told by your "finance" guy that due to the time and banks being close that he would call us back the next day no later then 11am. Not only did we not receive a call by 11am next day but it was about 3 days later via email as if we had received a call with a verdict. We were never able to complete the process. Very unfortunate I was very clear when we spoke of my position and what I had and what I didnt and was even clearer that I dont want to waste your time nor my own, which indefinitely happened anyways. Also your receptionist is quite unprofessional, answering the phone as if its her personal line. My husband call 3 times and hung up because he thought he had the wrong number for she did not state her name not the dealerships name. So for these reasons I will not be referring you to any of my friends, family, coworkers, and/or acquaintances. The experience with your dealership was beyond wasteful and disappointing I hope that other customers have had a better experience as I will share my experience with a descriptive review.

Friend and I picked up two clean Mercedes. 2015 C300 and a 2014 C250 with ultra low miles and plenty of factory warranty remaining. Value for money is perfect. I will defiantly use STG again.

Found this dealership on the web, and was looking for a Jaguar XF or XJ. STG had a white XJ and a blue XF. Both cars were beautiful. I didnt get to test drive the white XJ due to someone had beat me to the punch, and it was out on a test drive. I drove the XF and she was a beauty. But, guess what? Peter, a true professional said, we have a black XJ that just came in, and it hasnt hit our website yet. Peter showed me the vehicle, and after I test drove it, it was time to deal. I met with Jason and Mike, and a deal was struck. The experience was truly first rate. Their whole team was very knowledgeable and had class. Mike was a beast during negotiations, but I wouldnt have had it any other way.After taking the Dark Knight home, I found there was an issue with the rotors. I brought my issue to STG and without hesitation they agreed to correct the problem. I am truly amazed with how precise the team at STG were and, I LOVE MY NEW JAG. By the way, the finance manager was also A+, and first rate. Thanks STG group for an enjoyable Saturday. Did I mention, "I LOVE MY JAG."

To be very honest you are gonna get a good car, well cleaned and I checked the car in car max they said all mechanic is good. BUT my advice to anyone regardless the price and all the financial part, READ carefully the contract paper, they DONT OFFER RETURN unless you asked, they let you sign WITHOUT making anything clear. YOU HAVE TO ASK ABOUT EVERYTHING before you ask. FOR HOW many years is the payment. They didnt tell me. I recommend it JUST IF you will read the contract before you sign.

I am very satisfied with my experience so far with STG. I recently bought myself my dream car there, and they were very helpful, and persistent, they did everything they could to meet me where I needed to be. They pulled strings, they dropped the #s and made it happen for me and I am very GRATEFUL to the staff there, from the Finance Managers to the Owner himself who made some special calls for me. Bill was my Salesman there and he was very nice and patient. Two days after buying the car I noticed a small issue on my bumper, I drove it in, and Bill sent me over to the Service dept and the part was ordered and now waiting for replacement. They have been a pleasure to work with thus far and I am almost certain I will be back sooner than later to get another car, as well as send them over some referral customers. I highly recommend this dealer if you are seriously looking into buying a nice luxury car from some honest people. Keep up the good work STG and stay away from shady deals that will tarnish your name.
