"Not So Brilliance Auto"
Me and my boyfriend travelled a long drive to make it to this dealership. To make sure they even had the car we called twice before making it there, repetitively saying the cars year and make before arriving. We got there again asking to view the year and make that we viewed online. HE HANDED US KEYS TO TWO CARS. NEITHER OF THEM BEING THE CAR WE VIEWED AND ASKED FOR. Then finally told us he sold the car we were originally asking for. Such a waste of time. So ironic the name is brilliance auto when DAN, wasnt so brilliant.

I walked into Brillance Auto and 3 hours later I was back on the Garden State Parkway in a 2014 BMW 328i with less than 25,000 miles. Brandan (sales rep) was very informative and kept me updated by the minute throughout the entire process, not to mention he was very patient and made sure I felt comfortable with the car before anything was signed. Before car shopping, I recommend that you be honest with yourself and understand your credit situation, wether good, bad or repairing, they will make it happen but dont expect Tier 1 credit low payments with terrible credit, its a car dealer not a magic show. I walked in and was completely honest about rebuilding my credit and in return they were completely honest about my options. Id recommend Brilliance Auto to anyone in the used car market and they definitely will have a returning customer in myself.

I purchased a 2011 BMW X5 11/2016 and less than 3 months later I had to pay $1500 to replace the water pump, $350 because the hood would not open, and a vibrating wheel at 60k miles in which I was told by Brilliance Auto mechanics that it is the wheel balancing . My husband spoke to Service Manager Nia about the concerns with the vehicle and she assured us that things would be worked out and to bring the vehicle in. My husband brought the vehicle in on Friday, February 3, 2017 and no mechanics were in nor was Nia. My husband waisted a day off work to come there to only get turned away. He then went back on that Saturday and the mechanic was unable to open the hood and told my husband to make an appointment. Once again, inconvenienced and by the way, Service Manager Nia was not present again as she said she would be. Now I have been riding around in a car with low oil and cannot get the hood open. There was no urgency or concern to assist us. I called and left a message with the sales manager and she was nice enough to take my information and pass it on to Nia. I received a phone call from Nia on Monday, February 6, 2017 and she said she was trying to get a loaner car for me and should have one by that Weds. and asked for my patience. She apologized for the past weekend and not being present due to illness and that things would be taken car of. She further assured me that she would contact me by that Weds. with a loaner car. It is February 18, 2017 and I had never received another phone call from Nia or anyone from Brilliance Auto. I took my vehicle to another auto body shop and paid $350 to repair my hood. This was my first and last time purchasing from Brilliance Auto nor will I refer anyone there. I am disturbed by the lack of customer service and care from this dealership. I am thankful that my car didnt endure further damage due to low oil and being unable to open my hood to add the necessary oil.

I went there with a buddy from church to see a car and I was impressed by the way it was set up. I did not buy a car but my buddy did. I told the guys I was still going to write a review. I talked with the sales guys they are all strait shooters. It was comforting to see people walking in the door as late as it was and no one was in a rush to leave, not like at some of the restaurants I have left reviews for.

Good Job! I came in on a Wednesday to do paperwork. I returned on a Saturday before going to NYC. I requested a scratch to be polished off, exhaust rattle adjusted and the latch on the glove box be repaired. All the work was done. They were still detailing it when I got there. But, thats okay. I am even going back on Monday to collect some gently used clothing for my church! Everyone at the dealership agreed to bring in some lightly worn clothes for my congregation. I was referred to this dealership after my motor blew out. I wanted to get my engine replaced, but was looking for a good deal since I have invested so much into my car already. I just wasnt ready to let it go. I met with Sammy who is the owner after speaking to Travis and he advised me that he could in fact fix the motor, but for the amount of money I would spend I might as well go with a newer version of my ride and he can take a lot of the custom work off of my old ride and place on the new one. He also got me looking into obtaining a warranty and more which he was able to provide for me all under one roof. At this point I was out of a car and couldnt get to work not to mention it would take weeks maybe more to get my motor fixed and at a price I have gotten from a few sources that I just was not ready to put down. So I went with the offer Sammy presented because to be honest it was the best one. Thank you to the Brilliance Auto team for making things go so smoothly and giving me the best offer out there!! Thank you for your pateince as well. YOU GUYS ROCK!! Free oil change maybe for a year? lol kidding kidding.....

I came in to buy a Jeep or a Pontiac. I told the sales man what I really wanted was a BMW. He stopped the whole process and and pulled up a 2006 328 xi and I was like I cant afford that. He said it was less than the Pontiac and the Jeep so I took it for a test drive and I will never drive anything else! Nothing drives like this BMW. With only 71000 miles I can not believe it is mine. Well, I will know when I wake up in the morning. Thank you so much Travis you stopped me for settling for something I did not want. 5 stars for all you guys.

I asked about a vehicle and i did NOT receive any info about financing bad credit. I contacted them a few times regarding this and.it always seems to get swept under the rug. Every dealer i spoke to Was able to give me an estimate of the monthly and the apr this dealer seems to shy away from it, almost sending signals that they CANNOT finance bad credit. Not recommended and very disappointed.

Ive always wanted a pink car. I went into Brilliance Auto in Union NJ not knowing what type of car I wanted, but I knew whatever used car I did get needed to be customized and painted pink. Travis advised me that they can do everything from buying and financing a car to customizing the car all under one roof. I winded up getting a Jeep and was a little skeptical at first of how well the customization would look, but after picking it up today I absolutely LOVE it!! The detailing is so on point!! From the paint job to the interior and the rims I am in LOVE!! I highly recommend this place to anyone!! Looking forward to going back for my first oil change!!

James "Big Bentley" Chatman, what can I say the name says it all. After a long hard week of searching hi and low, talking to numerous car dealers at numerous dealerships. Many said a deal is going through, and come on down, I heard it all. I was ready to just settle for a 98 dodge neon I just was fed up at this point. So James calls me and says are we still on for this evening, I said straight up "man you have my paper work and app, what you gonna do I dont wanna waste my time everyone says they got me and Im not driving yet so what you gonna do" He replied " what you want me to do magic, be whodini, build a arc what you want from me," we both laughed he said come down dont worry your driving home. I am truly pleased with the service I got from these guys. I was in a crazy upside situation with my previous dealer. Ive been turned down by several other dealers that didnt even want to get involved due to how deep of a hole I was in. I started giving up because all I kept hearing was that Im stuck with this deal and there isnt a way out unless I can up with thousands of dollars that I didnt have. But then I gave it one last try and gave these guys a visit. Instantly James assured me hed make it happen. After my previous experiences Im just like yeah sure, well see. But little do you know Im am free!!! They worked their magic, and were honest with me the entire time. I am still in disbelief Im out of that situation but Im thankful they were able to get me out of it. James, John, and Sam you guys are awesome!!! "Avoid This Deceptive Company!"
Big Lous advertises nice cars on Cars.com at one price - You know, the amount that you think it will take to buy the car. There is absolutely no reference to anything other than the price on the page. When you call, they try to direct you to their finance approval page and if you say you want to pay cash for the car in question, the price goes up by $3,000 or more dollars. When asked why they advertised it at a price that is $3,000 less than what they actually want, they act like you dont know jack about buying a car and say: "Everybody does it this way, we print the finance price which assumes a down payment of $3,000." If you insist on paying cash and asking them to honor the price as advertised, they simply say that the price on cars.com does not include the downpayment. This is the purest form of deceptive advertising. If they want to sell cars on cars.com, they should advertise the selling price as the selling price or mention a deposit amount on top of that price. My experience left me feeling very queasy and I have the feeling that Im not alone. Stay far away from these people.

The prices they list here are not actual prices. When I spoke to a representative about purchasing my vehicle cash they told me that this wasnt the cash price. The cash price was 4000 dollars higher. I used to sell cars and I found this hilarious.
