I approached Coachlight Motors looking for a newer car for myself. I was attracted to the quality of the cars, the cleanliness of the dealership and the friendly people. This is my fourth BMW, and no other dealership can touch how Coach light has treated me in making me feel like I was their only customer. Sal the owner is the best. To be able to talk to the owner of the dealership makes you feel close and personal. His staff of Jim, Jessica, Brad, Brandon and others are the best. Jessica is a gem. From the time i purchased the car to help with the warranty company Jessica is a consistent with her strong presence to make sure I am happy whether at Coach light or another dealership getting service. They even gave me a loner car when they were working on my 2008 750i.

After having a large tree fall on my Mazda 6, I was in the market for a replacement vehicle. I was interested in an entry level sport/luxury car because it fit my budget and tastes. Jimmy K at Coachlight Motors had a 6-speed BMW 328xi on the lot, which I was behind the wheel of minutes after pulling into the lot. For a relatively small dealership, they have a good variety of makes, models, and prices. They do a comprehensive check on the vehicle which takes a few days after you purchase it, but it will give you some peace of mind knowing that it should be in good working order. I was overly impressed with the quality of the vehicles that were on the lot and the fun that Jimmy brought to the whole buying experience. I would highly recommend this dealer if you are considering a used BMW, Mercedes, or other luxury brand vehicle.

While browsing the web for a Mercedes SL, Cars.com/Coach Light Motors came into my view as a secondary search and I immediately went to cars.com to see if the vehicle was still available. I called the number listed for one Jimmy K and ask what the rock bottom price and any hidden charges associated with the purchase. To my surprize there were no additional charges. A pre-purchase inspection was required before the deal could be finalized. Jimmy K and I worked on a gentlemans agreement and no monies where exchange until the deal was final. This was my first expericence in a on-line purchase and Jimmy K, of Coach Light Motors was down right a delight to work with. There was no pressure, sales pitch what so ever.

From my first interaction with Jimmy who sold me my car, to the guys who work in the garage - they are all very nice and professional to deal with. Jimmy is a true professional. I went there to purchase a BMW X5, he could have made an easy sale - but, instead he took the time to find out that I drive over 76 miles a day to work and explained that it may not be the best car for me, as the X5s dont get great gas mileage. My SUV was idling high and running rough. I was told by Advance Auto it was the idle air control. I took it to Coachlight to have it replaced. I got a phone call from the service mgr telling me i didnt have an idle air control. As a single woman, I appreciate their honesty. They changed my plugs, cleaned the carbon out of some other parts and installed a new air filter. My car hasnt run so smooth in a long time. Very happy and pleased.

I heard about this place from a friend that had his brakes done there, he was really pleased so I figured Id check it out. Glad I did! I called up and made an appointment one evening and they were able to squeeze me in first thing in the am ( which is what I requested). Once I went over what was going on with my car they told me an expected wait time which was nice so I could plan my day. When I showed up they knew me by name, and had the car being looked at within minutes. I told them I had planned on leaving the car there so they confirmed my contact info and said they would be in touch by within the hour in regards to what needs to be done and a quote. That they did. The call came, prices were fair and by the time I returned late morning not only was the car fixed and running perfectly the guys took the time to walk me through everything they did and why the price was what it was. In short... not your typical experience! They were professional and thorough. I highly recommend this place... Great customer service, and my cars fixed!

"Save Yourself The Hassle And Shop Elsewhere"

Please do not do any business with Coach Light Motors in Windsor, CT. I rarely take to the internet to bad mouth any businesses, but since my wife bought her car from these people with the understanding that we were buying a great vehicle in excellent condition, shes had to bring the car back 3 times over the past 3 months. Their vehicle prices are high and their ability to perform any repairs is questionnable.
