"Decent Deal, But Fast-taling Salesmen"

Went there looking for a new VW and eventually got a reasonable deal on the car I wanted. The salesman I had, unfortunately, made the process difficult. Nothing he told me about the car was accurate. That wasnt a big deal for me since Id done a lot of research on the car already - but its unfortunate. Also, four different times during the process he gave me paperwork to sign that was incorrect (once for a completely different car!). So - if youve done your research ahead of time, and if youre careful to read everything all the way through before signing you can get a reasonable deal there. By the way - I think some of sales staff there may be great, but not the person I dealt with.

Came in just wanting to drive the car I was interested in. Maria promptly helped me and as we talked she showed me how I could purchase the car then, which was what my wife wanted. No pressure, just very helpful. When we came in a couple of days later to pick up the car everything was ready and we were out of there in no time. Cant say enough good things about Maria. She is great.

After spending a great deal of time narrowing down my search to the specific make and model of vehicle I was looking for I dropped into Langan VW of Vernon on a Friday afternoon. I was immediately greeting by Maria in the sales department. That was the start of the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. Maria asked a few questions and upon hearing that I already knew exactly which model I was looking for she took me out to the lot and showed me the vehicles that fit my specifications. She and I narrowed it down to a few and then I had the pleasure to work with David the General Manager. After comparing cost and mileage with him (I was purchasing a vehicle a few years old but still looking for low mileage) I decided on the one that seemed to be the best option. Maria went out, cooled off the car and we were off for a test drive. The car was exactly what I was looking for so I decided to go ahead with the purchase. To my surprise I was asked if I’d like to take the car home that evening. Between Maria, David and Shane the Finance Manager everything was taken care of from insurance, financing, even cleaning out my old vehicle that was being taken in on trade. In less than 3 hours from the time I arrived everything was done and I was on my way home in my new car. The entire staff was professional, courteous and there to get me into the vehicle I was looking for not the vehicle they wanted to sell me. I should add that I am a single woman shopping for the vehicle on my own and despite that it was an exceptional experience. No vultures or push sales people at this dealership. There was never any pressure to purchase the vehicle, make a quick decision or pay for anything I wasn’t looking for in regards to added warranty coverage. The only pressure that day was for the service department to give the car one more quick inspection, a touch up cleaning and plates on it so I could head out! They were still touching up the wheels when I was ready to leave. I can’t speak any higher of the outstanding employees and managers at Langan VW and this dealership will definitely be my dealership of choice for future purchases.

I recently began online shopping for a VW Jetta which led me to Langan VW in Vernon. When I went to Langan to look at a car I found the staff was extremely outgoing and friendly. I was greeted by Frank, the sales manager, immediately upon entering and he introduced me to Maria, the best salesperson ever! Maria was not only professional but very personable and just about the nicest woman you could ever meet! I happen to mention I was starving, as it was lunch time, and she insisted on giving me half of her own lunch! She was very helpful, answered all my questions, was not pushy at all, and made the whole experience enjoyable. I was able to go in at 1 PM and by 5PM that day drive home in my new car. Maria and Frank went out of their way to ensure the while process was pleasurable and I couldnt be happier with my car and he service they provided. "Well Worth The 2 1/2 Hour Drive!"

I am so happy with my transaction. My only regret is that I dont live closer so that I could have all my regular service done there!. Tim San Andres was great to work with and never made me feel like I was asking for too much. Not once did he make me feel pressured. I loved his upfront approach, honesty with the numbers, and his dedication to making sure I was 100% happy with the car I was choosing. All this, and it was done almost entirely via email! I know I was a pain with picking out the car, but I was never treated as such and truly appreciate that! I love my Beetle, and the ride to get it was truly worth it. Id finally had it with our needy Volvo and decided to replace it with a new or gently used VW. Mark Newcomer was our salesman and he and the rest of the staff at Langan VW of Vernon made me and my wife feel welcome and comfortable as we zeroed in on our new VW. Over the next week and a half Mark was courteous and professional as I cross-examined him and his inventory of stick shift VWs. Mark was put in the unenviable position of having an ex mechanic and car salesman as a customer and he knew it but showed great restraint and patience during the next 5 cameos that took place before we finally pulled the trigger on a 2011 CC. Before taking delivery of the car I ate a high protein breakfast and prepared myself for the inevitable onslaught of hidden fees, questionable charges and wacky math. Instead, Shane in finance had secured us an unbeatable rate and graciously accommodated our wishes as we sailed through the paper work. Over all we had a very pleasant experience with the team at Langan VW of Vernon.

We spent time test driving and looking for just the right car. It was going to be put in service for my wifes daily commute (80mile/day). We narrowed it down to VWs and Mazdas. and then finally the VW Jetta TDI. During this process we visited 3 Mazda dealers and 4 VW dealers. In the end there was 3 Jetta TDI that we were considering and one was on deposit. At the last minute I spotted a Jetta online at Langan VW in Vernon. It had almost everything we wanted. I called the dealer and got BJ on the phone and set up an appointment to see the car. My first impression of Langan was WOW! This dealer was the coolest dealer Ive ever been in. It wasnt just a dealer, but it was a VW museum. Vintage Bugs, Vans, and Ghias all with a story sitting in the showroom. BJ met me at the door and showed me around. Right away I was impressed with his knowledge and enthusiasm. We sat and went over background info and details about the car. Then the test drive. BJ thoroughly explained everything about the car and I learned more about the vehicle than I did in any of my previous test drives. He and the car were winning me over. Back in the office I explained to BJ about the car I had on deposit and what the offer was. I felt if they could come close the deal was theirs. And they did. I left and called my wife who was excited, but a little apprehensive (I dont have a spotless record on past car decisions). We picked up the car on Saturday and had the best experience possible. The car was sitting out front, immaculate and I could see my wife getting that little kid smile. When we walked into the dealership it got wider. BJ met us and showed off the car collection to my wife, whos first two cars were Bugs. The vintage Karmin Ghia was her favorite and BJ let her sit inside for a photo op. BJ loves his job and the cars and his enthusiasm again won the day. He thoroughly explained everything about the car to its excited new owners. To sum it up. Langan VW Vernon is now our favorite place to buy a car and BJ is the best. He provided a thoroughly enjoyable car buying experience. Being in marketing, it was interesting to study the differences in approach. None of the other dealers or sales people came close to their car buying experience. We both definitely recommend these guys.
