German Amador was an amazing salesman! He helped me get the best deal and made sure he gave me the best deal by calling other banks. He always had a bright smile on his face, and is very patient. Im completely satisfied with my car!

Sent an Email on July 16, 2017 about a Acura TSX. Advertisement stated you had Carfax reports available. Requested a copy of the Carfax, never received a response about the Carfax. All I received was a auto response with the ad. I dont drive to any dealership without a copy of a Carfax report.

I dont usually write reviews, but I feel like I need to share my experience with this dealer. I found a used vehicle on cars.com that I was interested. I filled out the email requesting contact and more information. They never got back to me. After thinking about the car for a couple more days, I called to get more information. I was told a salesperson would call me back. That didnt happen, so I made the trip from Santa Clarita to Van Nuys to check out the car myself. Once I got there, I was taken to the car. After starting it,there was smoke coming out of the back, which had a very heavy gasoline odor. I asked the salesperson, "Why does it smell like gas so bad?" I was told, "I dont know. Its a gas car.", to which I replied, "My car is a gas car as well, but it doesnt smell like gas!" I asked if the 4WD worked. He replied" I dont know. It was a trade-in and we were going to take it to auction, but we put the ad in to see if anyone might be interested." This told me there was no inspection on the car and this would be very risky purchase. Then my son-in-law walked to the back of the car and found there was a whole the size of my fist in the muffler. That put an end to this possible sale. It would have been nice to be contacted by someone and given this information before I drove all the way over there on a Friday evening. Doesnt seem like they have any interest in selling cars with the lack of contact I received.

Response from Auto Market:

Dear Trinacj, We would like to thank you for your recent feedback and insight to your experience. Please understand we work very hard and it would be unfair to say that an isolated incident (assuming all true) is representative of us as a whole. Firstly, as far as the communication is concerned regarding your email and call, we are looking into this to see how this might have happened and we will hold those accountable for not getting back to you in a reasonable fashion. Secondly, weve been operating for years. There is not a single car that doesnt go through a smog and safety inspection. If any faults are discovered, we immediately perform the necessary repairs or fixes to ensure compliance. This is not only our standard, but it is also the law. We would not do anything that would risk our license, let alone for a smog check or safety inspection. It simply would not happen here. Generally, on a cold start, most pre-owned cars may at times emit an insignificant smell from the exhaust, depending on your sensitivity. This is because its a motor and combustion is involved. However, it may depend on the make, model, year, mileage, and other factors. Were sorry that youve experienced this particular car this way. As a general rule, any cars that are destined for auction, we do not advertise. Were checking to see if we can validate this with any staff members and correct them if they have any other impression. However, to date, not a single representative is unclear about this point. After your review, we conducted an inspection of all cars and mufflers alike. It would be against all odds for us to purchase a car with such a problem or to not repair such a problem. We did not find a single car in our inventory with a hole, let alone one with the size of a "fist". Our sales representatives are compensated on commission and their livelihood depends on their sales. Weve seen situations where two representatives may argue over the right to service a customer, but never have seen emails and calls go unanswered. Please remember, this our dealership and representatives make our business possible. We would not be in business if we spent all of our time advertising and didnt service our customer requests. Its highly unlikely. In any case, we would like to invite you to evaluate our inventory to see if any vehicles interest you. We would love to earn your business. We work very hard and stand by our principles. We are investigating to see what the details were in this particular incident. In the meantime, feel free to reach to us if you are still in them market. Sincerely, Casey Amini
