I have been looking for a specific Jaguar for over a year, After looking on Cars.com I requested more information. I received a call back from two people within 30 mins. I made an appointment with Ernesto to make the trek down to L.A. the same day after work. Ernesto was terrific from beginning to end. Because they had just received the trade in, there were no pictures listed on the car. Ernesto was nice enough to text me pictures of the interior and exterior. He indicated there were already a number of people interested in the car because of the excellent condition and low miles, one was also on the way from out of town. I arrived two hours later and there was in fact a gentleman looking at the car, he arrived just mins before me. Luckily he moved on! The car was in the condition as described online and by Ernesto, which was mint. Jeremy in Financing was extremely helpful, and took care of all the necessary paperwork and transfer documents for the DMV. After leaving the dealership I realized I had forgotten a few items in my old car, Ernesto mailed them to me the next day. Overall, it was a very positive experience, the communication was excellent. I will recommend Ernesto and Galpin to family and friends who are in the market for a car.

From the first time I stopped in to browse the Volvo model I had seen on the street I was greeted by Manny Hovanesian who showed me around and with no pressure we looked at a few vehicles for my needs. I bought my car here and have it serviced here as well. The buying experience was not bad and low pressure and they gave me the exact car I wanted. The service experience has been fantastic. Steve Sullivan is my advisor and he is THE BEST! I even found out that a co-worker brings his car to Steve, too. Steves a straight-shooter, doesnt try to oversell, and bends over backwards to lower the price. The whole staff is very friendly and helpful. You get a token for a free Starbucks coffee. The loaner cars have been great and now they offer Ubers if you just want to drop-off and pick-up! Overall a great experience!

Before we bought our first Volvo, we shopped at another dealer but my wife convinced me to try Galpin. Was I ever glad that I did! Everything about buying our car was a joy, they are truly professional and completely trustworthy, and best of all, no high pressure tactics! Steve Sullivan is our service adviser and he tops the class for customer service. Everything from checking in to getting status, being thorough, and making the visits as pleasant and painless as possible is excellent at Galpin Premier, and Steves excellent customer service is the icing on the cake. The facility is clean, all the employees are courteous and they even offer complimentary coffee from their own in-house Starbucks stand! There is WiFi, a great shop for accessories, and they often offer demo vehicles or loan vehicles while the car is being repaired. I would definitely recommend Galpin to my friends.

I visited Galpin Aston Martin in Van Nuys to test drive a brand entry model and ended up buying a DB9. I was very impressed with the dealership and particularly with Steve Rodgers who handled my purchase. I generally hate car buying as I hate dealing with aggressive sales person and the arrogance of some high end brand dealerships. This was probably my best experience purchasing a car. Steve was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and most importantly, he was not arrogant, condescending or patronizing, which I find at high end brand dealers often. He represented the brand and the dealership very well. I probably bought this car because I was so favorably impressed with Steve. I have already referred Steve Rodgers at Galpin to a colleague who is looking at a Jaguar F type. Steve apparently handles all brands carried at Galpin and I very strongly recommend that everyone at least see him and speak to him once before deciding on purchasing a car from another dealer.

Making an appointment and doing your own research are the keys to a more pleasant experience here. I dropped by twice before on different weekends to check out the CX5s and was never greeted on the lot by a sales person. Seemed like everyone was friendly, but too busy with other customers. I decided to go back a third time because they were the only dealership in the area that had the car I wanted in stock. The difference this time, though, was that I made an appointment. We were promptly greeted by Philip when we arrived. He was friendly and very patient with me while I was making decisions on the color I wanted. I think I may have taken an hour to decide (thank you, Philip!) Once I decided on the car , the experience was pretty painless. A few pieces of advice, though...they are very busy on weekends, so be prepared to wait around and if youre going to do a trade-in, get your car appraised by somewhere like Carmax first so you know the value of your car.

When I spend several hours anywhere, I remember the experience. My mechanic told me the Galpin dealerships were great and if they sold me a car, it would be a good deal. I bought a car and my salesman Mike was amazing. He explained everything, brought me water, escorted me everywhere and smiled through the entire process. A gentleman at an auto dealership that went over and above what I expected. Their finance manager David was also unbelievable. I got a better loan rate than my own credit union gave me and theyve made me feel secure for the future as well. Its apparently not just "the sale" at Galpin. Its the retention and dedication to customer service most businesses lack these days. Mike and David, Thank you for putting Galpins best foot forward. Ive told my co workers, who by the way envy my new Miata and through no dinner or sleep over my new car, Im so happy I went to Galpin.

"Galpin Employees Violated Their Own Bill Of Rights"

Galpin Employees Matt Snider and David Choi have violated their own Companys Mission Statement and Customer Bill of Rights. After negotiating a purchase price for a 2013 Jaguar XF, Galpins staff literally attempted to trick me into purchasing a 2012 Jaguar XF. The sales person showed me the car without any disclosures that it was in fact a 2012. After they showed me the car, I literally had the check in my hand to start the paperwork, when all of a sudden they decided to spring the 2012 year information on me. A classic bait and switch right at the time of purchase. Than they tried to convince me that the 2012 was the best deal and that they would sell it to me for the same price as the 2013 Jaguar XF. In the last 12 years, I have purchased 5 Jaguars from a different dealership, so needless to say I was already horrified at this level of deception. It gets worse, the 2013 Jaguar XF was a Certified Pre-owned Vehicle and the Galpin staff had already told me that 2012 was a better deal. It turns out the 2012 was not even a Certified Pre-owned Vehicle, but this too was deceptively kept from me. After which I was walking out of the building in disgust over the way I was treated, when they called me back in to tell me that they they would certify the car but the technicians would not be in until Tuesday given that it was labor day weekend. So they categorically stated that I should go home and relax and they would take care of everything before I would have to come back and complete the purchase. The next day, I actually received a call from the sales person informing me that I would need to come back in to purchase the vehicle before they would certify it. Im told Galpin prides themselves on customer service, however, if this is how Galpin chooses to have their sales and finance department act with their customers, than I do not in anyway know how they would receive such positive ratings. This whole transaction has been horrific and borderline criminal. More people need to take the time to write about the other side of Galpin.
