"Feeling Ashamed"
When I agreed to purchase my Ford, I had 3 expectation, I.e., drive a clean & safe car, have my questions answered before handing over my check, and treated with respect. I ended up feeling ashamed with myself that I purchased a car that was filthy and bringing a check before my questions were answered. My sales person told me with a smile that she would get back to me with answers, and the manager told me that I would say one thing in front of others and say another when it was just he and I. I didnt expect to be made to feel like I was a 2nd class buyer. I made it clear that I was there to buy a car after a 3 hour drive with a bank check but just needed answers. I left wondering if I was treated as I was for being a minority and buying a used car. This is the 6th Ford my family has owned but the first 5 were new and from different dealers. I do not understand why I had to drive off with a car that was not vacuumed, full of trash left in the doors, and sticky cup holders. JP Singh was the only one who took the time to answer my questions respectfully but there was nothing he could do about the condition of my car.

Three days later, I went back to buy the car, John and his management changed their mind and refused to sell at agreed price. Dont recommend to work with John nor the management. No ethics!

I have no complaints over the services I received while in search of a pick up truck; however I did not purchase it due to the final asking price. I have a budget set in mind and cannot gear off the price I have set in mind due to my financial circumstances. Being pre-owned, my Explorer did not come with the no key entry code. The service department was extremely helpful andvpleasant. They traced down my code & sent me on my way with little issue. Apparently its a little harder to recover than I thought.

"Pre-owned Certified Purchase"
We saw the pre-owned certified car we wanted online, went to Sayville Ford, test drove it and arranged for finance through them. We returned the next day with a certified check, expecting the car to be in near perfect condition. It wasnt, a few minor adjustments still needed to be made; but, the car was in great enough condition to take. Everything else was perfect, smooth and easy. Jacqueline Grosjean was very kind, attentive and informative. JP Singh was honest, personable and efficient. We should note that we started this transaction on December 30, 2016 and finished it the next day, the last day of the year, making it a bit crazy for everyone. The car came with a one year full warranty, and we purchased additional time; so, the coverage is there and the excellent staff are there, we just need to return to tweak some minor adjustments to a great car.

Cam Gouttard was extremely helpful. He made buying my first car a good experience. Cam even helped me through the issues with my insurance policy when it stood in the way of getting the car. He was very knowledgeable and even helped me set up some of the features. My only issue with Sayville Ford was with the financial department, I had an appointment to pick up my car and fill out the financial paperwork for 7 and they kept me waiting until 8:15. Other than that, I was very happy with the dealership.

Most positive auto buying experience! I spent about 2 months searching the internet, sending & receiving emails, and making phone calls as I searched for a new or used Ford Explorer. I test drove the 2015 Explorer Limited at another dealership (twice) and was just about to make a deal, when I decided to check out one more Ford dealership. Lucky for me, this last stop was at Sayville Ford. No doubt about it! The stars and the planets were lined up just right for me, as I purchased a new 2015 Ford Explorer Sport. The positive attitude of Caitlin Kerins set the tone "right off the bat". We went for a test drive, and she let the truck "sell itself", along with answering all my questions. I test drove the truck for approximately 10 miles, which, drastically played a big part in my decision making process. Caitlin did not rush or time limit the test drive. She even held my cell phone so that I could Face Time (I-phone) to share the excitement with my daughter who is out of state in college. Mark Trimboli is probably the best salesman I have ever encountered. He is friendly, knowledgeable and very strait forward. He did not try to pressure us into any car and listened to what we wanted. I was looking at buying a preowned F150, and my wife was interested in the edge. He was diligent in finding a truck for me and letting me know all the options available. As for my wife she was not as definite as to what she wanted. He showed her a few things and then she made a decision, but then changed her mind. He did not try to pressure her into leasing it at that moment. He simply said that the deals might change in the new year, so just be aware. He was great getting my truck all ready for me to pick it up at s great price. We will definitely go see him again when my wife decides what she wants. I highly recommend visiting mark if you are interested in getting a car from a salesman who will not try to smooth talk you into something you cant afford or do not want.
