"Horrible Customer Service!"
Let me just start out with WOW, what an atrocious process working with these guys. I recently purchased a 2014 Lotus Evora S with 3,100 miles on it. The price was reasonable, but it took them over two weeks to get the price down to a competitive rate. The car was driven by one of the owners or managers (I forget which), and was on the market for over 250 days, and they did not want to budge on pricing. Finally, after physically sending a wire to another dealer, they contacted me last minute agreeing to my terms. Not only did I have to back up the wire with the other dealership, and potentially tarnish my reputation, I expected the car to be in excellent condition, considering they claim to be a Lotus dealer. The car arrived, and was overall in good condition, dont get me wrong. However the Lotus lettering on the back of the car was missing the "U", which the Jameson and his manager said to take up with the transport company, despite transport showing no issues with the car when they picked it up. Secondly, the star-shield on the car is peeling, also they said to take up with my local Lotus dealer under warranty. Third, the steering angle was at fault, which is a big repair and they also said to take up with my local shop. Fourth, the car arrived with only one key. None of these issues were disclosed in the listing at all. A car from a Lotus franchise is expected to be in top shape and have a second key. I wouldnt expect otherwise unless it was from a small, wholesale dealer. To top this off, they refused to release the car to my first transport company, despite having my funds in hand, in full for the vehicle. This has never happened in over 30 transactions for me with any other dealer. I had to reschedule with a new transport company, and was assessed a fee, and it took another week + to get the car. On top of this, Jameson and his crew were sloppy and slow at "overnighting" paperwork, taking a week versus actual overnight. The whole process was sloppy, and cost me money. At the end of the day I merely requested a $500 refund for the initial deposit I made on the car. They stopped responding to my requests and disregarded my emails and messages. I highly recommend taking a pass on this dealership. They are not interested in the clients, but just themselves. I own several businesses, and everyone knows the customer comes first. These guys are messy, disrespectful, and do not hesitate to act above the client.

No complaints. I have been getting my car serviced at Baker for years and have never had an issue. The techs are informative in reviewing the repairs that are needed. They move quickly and everyone is easy to work with. I would say the entire staff is looking out to make sure their customers have a great experience!

"Worst Car Buying Experience In My Life"
Purchased a used Jeep here the 1st week of August. There is a lot of things between when I walked in and purchased the car that were horrific, but I will just comment on the biggest, and still unresolved, problem. 2 miles after driving it off the lot the check engine light comes on. After repeated calls and complaints, Baker took the Jeep in attempt to identify and fix the problem. No calls or updates for TWO MONTHS unless I called and called...no return calls from them. After two months they replaced one of the catalytic converters. Again, 2 miles after driving off the lot the check engine light went back on. They replaced the second catalytic converter shortly thereafter. Again, I drive off the lot and the light comes back on AND the car sounds like its going to explode when I accelerate. At this point I also needed to get the car inspected to avoid being ticketed. Obviously it failed. This was the middle of October mind you, and now I had until October 31st to have it re-inspected. Now they tell me they put the wrong size converter in, hence the light being on and the Jeep sounding awful when I accelerate. STILL waiting on yet another part to come in for over TWO WEEKS now. Best part is when I called service today the part still was not in AND there are apparently no loaner cars available. Who is going to pay my tickets for a past due rejected inspection sticker on my car? They do not care about customer service and they prove it over and over. I have kept my mouth shut for 3 months, been polite and more than patient with them and I continue to get treated like garbage. Be warned.

My daughter travels over 4-1/2 hours in each direction when she leaves for college. I rely on the team at Baker to make sure that her car will not only make that drive without incident but provide a safe operating vehicle for her while she is at school. Between Matt Belson, Kirk Reinson, and the rest of the highly-trained technicians at Princeton Baker, they find a way for my daughter and I to accomplish our goal while keeping an eye on cost. Safety concerns and operating issues are brought to our attention, while maintenance items are "watched" to be planned and scheduled for when appropriate. If and when something is needed, they advise action; if something can wait to fit into her school schedule and our wallet, they let us know that as well. Not many dealerships operate in this fashion and over the years they have gained our trust; especially mine as my most precious possession is driving that vehicle. This dealership is different and stands out from the rest; you will know what I mean when you become a customer.

I purchased a Jeep yesterday at Baker Jeep in Princeton, NJ. The entire buying process was great. Tim L. was the sales associate that worked with me - he was helpful, patient, and took the time to show me models, options, etc. He was knowledgable about the different options and when it came time for the actual negotiating process - (although nobody likes that part...) it was better than expected. I visited another Jeep dealership 1 week prior and was unhappy with that experience...so needless to say I was very happy with the overall experience at this dealership and would recommend this to anyone interested in a Jeep product!

Downright horrible...the manager hung up on us.salesman taylor never returned phone call as promised.they repainted a part of the car like a 5 yr old would.they sent us out of showroom with no gas in car...my dad was going to buy a car too but they were too lazy to dig from the snow....good salesman....not....we are trying to resolve problem...waiting for a call from ed baker...we will take further if necc....

Bought a trade in black gti from the 2 months ago. They worked on the price with me for hours and got me the loan I could get for someone 24 and buying there first car with only a year worth of credit. Once I bought the car I decided to bring it to a Volkswagon deal for the to check everything out since Volkswagons can be easily miss taken care of and not know it. They found that my carburetor had a lot of residue in it and said it would be a problem down the road (900$) to do. Then they also found to minor leaks in my 1 and 2 gasket (650$) brought it back to baker showing in my bill statement what they thought was wrong with it and they took my car back in and Volkswagon down the street check it out to double check.. They found the same issues. They then took my car into there service and fixed both issues. I was NOT putting out 1500$ after buying a car and they took car of everything. Car is running great and I love it! . Sales guy Jim was awesome and really had a good time with working with him. All in all a great experience
