I was NOT looking forward to the car-buying experience at all, especially the thought of going into a dealership and the usual car salesman doubles peak and disingenuous nonsense. That is why I did as much as I could online first. Steves Chevrolet was different from the first email. No pressure, respectful, informative, and very helpful! I was so relieved and happy with the entire purchasing process. Ask for Fernando...he kept searching until he got me a great low interest rate.

Great experience! From the first moment Fernando Guzman greeted me at the front entrance of the dealership to the last moment when we shook hands before drove away in my 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500HD I had a terrific experience. Fernando listened to what I wanted, said it was currently not on the lot but lets see if we can get it. He went right to work searching on the internet and came up with 3 options right away. I was given trucks with different options to choose from with no pressure to choose any of them. It took several days for me to go through my own process of choosing what to buy and during those days Fernando provided the best customer service I have ever had in a vehicle purchase. For real. He kept me informed, provided information, verified with facts and always let me know he was putting together the best deal possible for me. In the end, I was very happy with my deal and my new truck. and I might add - A friend had recommended that I go to Steves Dealership in Oakdale and I was hesitant to go outside of Modesto. My friend recommended Steves because of the good experience he had... so I took the drive. I am very glad my friend gave me that recommendation - I will be paying it forward to others!

I purchased a 2015 Silverado Crew Cab and my salesperson was Fernando. I have purchased many vehicles in the past to include 2011 Ram 1500 and 2013 Ram 2500 Diesel. I decided to sell my diesel and go back to a gas engine. I was on the fence between sticking with Ram or going to a Chevy. After dealing with Fernando, my choice became clear based off his knowledge of the product and answering all questions thoroughly that I asked. He was upfront with everything and never gave me the feeling that I was being taken advantage of (unlike other dealerships/experiences). If i decide to buy another Chevy in the future I will definately go back to Steves.

My wife & i started looking inti getting a truck & after going to a couple dealershiips. & getting the run around I decided to look online. so I sent an online quote request. & John M. Machado. called me & was very attentive & listened to was I was looking for in a truck. He went as far as texting me pictures of the truck. It was a perfect match to what we were looking for & with extra features. Ive nerer purchased a new vehicle before. So I thought the process was going to be hectic. Boy was I wrong. I didnt even have to step one foot at the dealership. Sent him all my info got approved & he event went as far as to deliver it to my house with a full tank of gas. I have to say that this was one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. From Doug the salesman, to the finance manager, the experience was truly outstanding. In fact, she commented later that she usually dreads the car buying experience because of the pressure from the salespeople. Well, we dont know where you found this particular salesperson, but we would not hesitate even one moment to buy another car from this dealership because of him. Planning on meeting my daughter in the K-Mart parking lot on the way to The Dardanelles for a camping weekend on a Thursday afternoon my 2004 HD 2500 left me "dead in the water" at approximatly 3:30 pm. My daughter called Steves Chevrolet and we talked to Brandon who walked us through getting the truck started again, he also checked to see if they had the part needed for repair and said if we came right in he could hold a mechanic to do the repairs. He had us back on the road in about 2 hours and we had a great time in the mountains. I will return for future repairs as the service is far superiour to the dealer from which my truck was purchased

Took my 2004 2500HD truck in for routine service and checking of potential transmission problem. I also mentioned my A/C switch was not functioning on high speed. Picked up the truck this morning and found the A/C switch was still covered under warranty so I was not charged even though my warranty for years had passed. Very plesant surprise.
