My daughter and I were treated like royalty by Sandy Lapin and Dylan Young. They worked on the perfect deal for almost a week, finding the Infinity package that met our needs. The entire sales, finance and delivery processes were effortless, and I recommend buying your next automobile from Infinity of Thousand Oaks. My finicky daughter loves her car!

Just had the best time buying a used car from this dealership, the sales person treated me like a person not a pay check! Just came from a dealer down in Oxnard and it was the complete opposite , they didnt look me in the eyes and they lied to me. The guys at Infiniti of Thousand oaks were straight forward and went above and beyond, I will tell my friends family and anyone interested in a great new or used car to go see Phil Mechanick and he will surely take care of you.

Sold me a used car that had a "clean" CarFax report. They said they had a 128 point inspection done to "Certify" the car. Everything looked good except for a small scratch along the right rear quarter panel, so I bought the car at fair market value. In less than a week I started having problems with the driver side window. When I brought it in to have it repaired, a detailed examination by the mechanic showed that the car had been involved in at least one, if not TWO, accidents. He showed me where the new skin was put on the drivers side door from the metal being crushed at some point. Thats why the window was doing weird things. That scratch in the rear quarter panel turned out to be a CRACK in the BONDO that had been done over the rear quarter panel. Then the mechanic showed me where the chassis had been bent and how the hood of the car no longer lined up with the rest of the body. When I went back to IoTO, I asked them if they KNEW all of this when they sold me the car, they said "Well, it has a clean CarFax" report." As if the car couldnt have possibly been in an accident simply because it wasnt reported on CarFax. Then I asked how ALL of this car damage was MISSED with the "128 point inspection" and I wanted to see the report. They were unable to produce it. To make matters worse, the sales manager, Jim, flat out told me it was my responsibility to find out everything about the car before buying, and Infinity isnt required by law to TELL ME IF THEY KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH THE CAR! To say that this completely blew me away is an understatement. IoTO sold me a wrecked salvaged car as an undamaged vehicle and they, 100%, believe that this practice is OKAY . Reviews online show that Im not the first person that this dealership has done this to. Caveat Emptor indeed... from a Thousand Oaks Dealership! Avoid this dealership at all costs.

Response from INFINITI of Thousand Oaks:

Hello, thank you for your review. We really do apologize that you’ve had a negative experience with our dealership. We strive for complete customer satisfaction and we would never intentionally do business in the way that you have mentioned above. Jim hasn’t worked for us for quite a few months, so it’s difficult for us to verify exactly what happened during your visit. I’m happy to retrieve any paperwork pertaining to the inspection. We are sorry to hear that there may have been some damage that was not listed on the CarFax report, however, any maintenance the vehicle may have needed would have been covered by our Certified Warranty. This would have included the window problem you described, which would have been fixed at no cost to you. Regardless, we would like the chance to show you a great customer experience. Please give me a call at 805-494-1200 so I can personally make sure you’re taken care of. Sincerely, Sandy Lapin, General Manager, Infiniti of Thousand Oaks.
