Made an appointment for an oil change/tire rotation; first appointment of the day (7:00am). Marvin was great; very polite and helpful. Waited while the service was done. Waiting room was clean and comfortable with many amenities (coffee, TV, wifi). Service was done by 8:15am. I was provided with a written evaluation of my vehicle that included recommendations. I will go back for future service.

I went to Subaru of Ontario for my first oil change and the customer service representative that helped me was very timid and not friendly. Every time Id ask him a question he would just look at me. I had to repeat myself a few times to get an answer. Also, there is a small scratch (less than 1 cm in size) on the rear passenger door. I asked if they can buff or do something to fix it. He just looked at me. When they finally finished changing the oil in my car I asked him if they fixed the scratch. He said no because it will take a lot of time to do that and that I will have to take my car back for another appointment to get the scratch fixed. He then stepped away to get my car. Then I saw him talking to the service people and pointing at the scratch on my car. When he brought my car to me he told me that according to the service guys, the scratch is too deep that it needs a new paint job to get it fixed. So, he lied. He didnt ask them early on. Also, I arrived 15 minutes early to my 11am oil change appointment. I left the dealer at 1:45pm very hungry! It took almost 3 hours to get my oil changed! No one offered for a company shuttle to drive me to a store nearby so I can buy lunch while waiting for my car to get serviced. Also, I bought a cargo net that day while waiting, but I forgot to present my $25 coupon at the parts window. I called the parts department when I remembered once I got home but the person I spoke to said that the manager wont be in until Tuesday to authorize such refund, So, my overall experience was not pleasant at all.

My family was in need of a new car and so we shopped around. We went to three or four other dealerships. At the others we were treated as less than customers and more like just a potential sale with very little regard to us and our needs. Subaru of Ontario instantly treated us like family all the way until the end. They were not pushy or all over us making sure we didnt leave. They respected our time and family obligations and didnt jump through hoops trying to keep us there. This attitude and courtesy brought us back the next day to get the car. They were honest through the process and it really felt like they were working for us and not for the sale. I understand that selling cars is a business but what they have going on over there felt like so much more to my family and me. If you dont go to Subaru youre not just going to miss out on a great car but youre going to miss out on peace of mind.

My first oil change at subaru was great overall, the staff were very friendly and the service was quick. The only thing that wasnt satisfactory was they put in 1/4 of a quart too much oil.

SUPER friendly and helpful staff, but unfortunately Subaru, Ontario couldnt get my FM radio to work. Its a brand new car Radio. Basic. Ive been spoiled by other high end dealers who wash the car after a service, but here I have to throw away my own paper floor mats, scoop up some of their leftover service plastic, and ask for my car keys so I could leave. That seemed odd.

I use to be a VW owner, but over the last year, I encountered multiple disappointments with their service and customer experience. VW did not make me feel like a valued customer.
