Handled by Mike Fitzgerald. Worked with Mike before and because of him will go nowhere else. He is a consummate professional who knows the benefits of good service. I always know what is going on, what to expect, and have never been taken by surprise. Its as though I am the only customer that he is working with. Car was suddenly running rough with check engine, VSR light and warning light showing. I took the car over to Mike Fitzgerald for a consultation . He make an appointment for the tech to check out the engine. Found a fouled spark plug caused the ignition coil to fail. Also had a fuel injection service performed along with a complete brake job and front end alignment. Everything was done professionally with great care. Mike Fitzgerald is and excellent employee. I am a former line mechanic, service adviser and retired automotive field parts manager for a major European OEM manufacturer. I am very particular who gets to work on my four cars. The Hoffman goup does my Lexus and Mustang along with my two Toyotas. This dealership is a very well run operation. I made an appointment via email on late Tuesday to test drive a vehicle on Friday morning. I was in contact with the dealership via email several times before my appointment. On Friday morning, I took several hours off from work to drive to the dealership, which was about an hour away. When I got there, I was told that the vehicle I was scheduled to test drive was sold the night before and an email was sent to me that morning. Clearly, the email arrived too late to be of any good to me. I find this totally unacceptable! Somehow it is not important for them to honor the appointment, and wasting a customers time is of no concern to them!

Excellent customer focused experience. It is always difficult buying a car these days when you have a career and family. I am the type of individual who would rather go to the dentist than deal with car salesmen. Hence, my reluctance to return my leased vehicle which had exceeded its mileage allotment. I recently purchased a 2016 Toyota Tacoma from Hoffman. I visited several dealerships, several which were closer to my home. Although I really have no complaints about the other dealers, Hoffman stood out as the best one. All of my interactions with all of the employees were exceptional. It started with Heather in the internet sales department. She helped me obtain a low price based on the options I wanted, which encouraged me to come in. Zach Hoffman, sales manager, provided me with a straightforward and upfront negotiation that was extremely quick and left me feeling 100 percent confident that I got the best deal possible. I walked into the dealership, having done my research, and I was prepared for war. I was pleasantly surprised to be in and out of the dealership within about 45 minutes. During that time I test drove a Tacoma, negotiated a price and received a quote on my trade. I walked away paying the price I wanted and they even ordered me the vehicle since no dealer had the options or colors I wanted in stock. My salesman, Larry, provided exceptional accessibility and quick answers to my questions while I waited for the vehicle. He was available by text, email and phone, which I really appreciated. The follow up support (regarding mats that had to be ordered) was daily by Larry. A manager, Jim, gave me frequent production and tracking updates. Even the financing experience was pleasant. Mike walked me through my options and didn’t pressure me into additional services, even though I chose to buy the extended warranty. This was my first new car vehicle purchase and I was very hesitant to trust anyone in the car buying process. However, I was very pleased with every aspect of my car buying experience. I have purchased used cars from Volkswagen, Infiniti and Acura. However, this is was the smoothest transaction I’ve had. This is the kind of dealer that I would send my parents to and be confident that they would be well taken care of. I will send my friends and family to visit this dealership.

This is a long overdue review of our good experiences with Hoffman Sales and Service. We purchased our used 2006 Avalon from Hoffman in 2009. The car had a serious problem within 6 weeks or so (oil hose split causing major engine damage). The repairs were covered under the original Toyota warranty. Hoffmans people did a good job getting things back to normal - 1st by giving me a nice Camry to use while my Avalon was repaired. Josh Lukasik was the Hoffman mechanic who did a great job tearing down the engine and completely rebuilding it. He has continued to work on the car over the last several years whenever I needed service. Note: recently, the car had some gaskets leaking, so again, Josh had to tear down most of the engine and rebuild it. Its doing fine now. Hoffman also has excellent service advisors - especially Mike Fuhr and Keith Lundy. They are both very professional and courteous; they know Toyotas; are thorough with computing and paperwork; they are good communicators and are good listeners. I recently told the Service Manager that Hoffman obviously hires good people as service advisors and trains them well. Finally, the Service Facility is first class. The 6-bay entrance area is large, bright and very clean. The customer waiting area is nice and the availability of loaner cars (or rides back home) is appreciated.

It is a rare day when one can be so complimentary towards an auto dealer. Hoffman Toyota and the entire Hoffman chain is a rare find. This is the third Toyota I have leased from Hoffman. As a single mom, one can imagine the stress and emotions that this undertaking COULD cause. Thankfully, Hoffman is truly trustworthy. Jose Rivera (aka "Rabbit") really listens and tries to help you out. I think hes called Rabbit because he has boundless energy and really seems to love what he does. There is no heavy hand and no "let me check with my manager and Ill be right back." I love my new 2015 Toyota Rav 4. Scheduled routine 35,000 mile service online, and 1) Was told they didnt have my paperwork when I arrived. Since this has occurred before, I showed the rep the print-out from their own reservation system....Turns out, this seems to be a known problem... Note to Hoffman: FIX it, or simply proactively print out the daily schedule rather than waste my time. 2)Discussed intermittent leak from oil filter which they had previously installed. Emphasized that the new filter be properly seated/installed. 1 1/2 hours later found out they had not done an oil change, its not part of the service. REALLY? After questioning, rep left and returned to say OOPS, oil change IS supposed to be done. ... Note: Do what you are supposed to do WELL the first time and stop pushing other stuff. Meantime, annoyed customer waits.... 3) 2 hours into it... Im directed to a window to sign paperwork and was informed my next service has been scheduled for 6 months from today, not, "May I set up your next appointment?" Note to Hoffman: I do not want you deciding when and where I will be 6 months from now. Nor is there any reason to believe Ill be at 40,000 miles in 182 days.. This is arrogance disguised as service efficiency and wastes my time cancelling and rescheduling. 4) Adding insult to injury, today they called to check if wed brought in the vehicle for the service! They had no record of it! Really? What happens when we have an issue and they claim we did not do all the required service??? We made the mistake of buying an extended service contract from Hoffman, or I would not be taking the Toyota back to them in future.

When scheduling on-line appointments it is important to include the VIN of your vehicle so the system accurately pulls all history prior to arrival. This helps us help you as we can see in advance all of the details about your vehicle, which also provides us the ability to improve planning time for all scheduled appointments that day. Regarding your oil change, our service advisor, not having the paperwork in front of her, incorrectly said you would not require an oil change. We apologize for that and any confusion it caused. Most vehicles now require synthetic oil, which lasts longer between service visits, and she incorrectly made that assumption until further examination of the paperwork. At that time it was evident that your vehicle requires conventional oil, which should be changed every 5K miles, therefore she presented the information to you in order to ensure proper care of your engine. Your service visit took longer than normal while our service technician investigated the origin of your oil leak, which was not coming from the filter as you suspected. We value your time and certainly want to minimize the length of your wait. We do not wish to frustrate you or anyone with our scheduling process and although this automatic scheduling feature has been well received by most of our customers, we acknowledge that it may not work for everyone. We are more than happy to adjust the date for you at any time to something more convenient; and, your feedback has been taken into consideration as we continually seek to improve service to customers. The reason you received a follow up call to see if your vehicle had been in for service was a technical error on our part and we apologize for the inconvenience. We did not delete the original appointment that you set without a VIN, however we created a new entry into the system that included your VIN upon your arrival. Since our service system tracks and retains all information based on VIN our representative was prompted to place a courtesy call. The administrative error has been addressed and we apologize that it caused confusion. We assure you that all service performed on your vehicle is on record. Again, we apologize that this visit did not go as smoothly as any of us would desire but we do look forward to making your next visit exceptional while helping to keep your vehicle running safely and efficiently. My Wife and I had been searching for a used SUV for a few weeks and found Hoffman Toyota had the lowest prices around, plus a very good selection of the RAV4 we were looking for. Salesman, Ed knew all there was to know about the car and was very pleasant to deal with, as was George and all the staff we worked with to finalize the purchase, complete with a bumper to bumper warranty for piece of mind. We had a minor problem with a heater fan which Toyota fixed at no cost and gave the car a nice wash too. I moved to CT in need of a new car...my brand of choice is always Toyota...now my dealer of choice will always be Hoffman. I was in for a tire rotation and ended up with cabin filters needing to be changes too. I would rather be told each time then have a dealer save up repairs and the get stuck with them all at one time. I feel they have my and my cars performance at heart. I was particularly pleased with Mike Fitzgerald. He took a lot of time to explain all the necessary repairs to me... and then again when I asked my friend to call him about things I didnt understand. It was a very costly set of repairs ( almost $4000.00)... It;s a 99 Avalon with 207,000 miles ... and he kept in touch while waiting for various parts to come in. He also took it on a 15 mile drive to check it out before returning it to me. I cant really comment on the quality of repairs. I assume Ill have to wait and see how everything will work in the weeks and months ahead. But... so far, so good, and Im really assuming that Ill be able to continue enjoying this car for some time to come. I love this car, and obviously Im reluctant to let it go, despite its age. Hoffman service will be a big factor in where Ill purchase the next one.
