"2016 Honda Repairs"
I have been to this dealership several times and have not received good service. Starting with the service manager Manny and some of the associates that work there they always seem too busy to help you. I just picked up my car for some roof molding repair and it was at the dealership for over a week it still was not fixed correctly.I have repeatedly tried to contact the owner of this dealership but he is untouchable. I have written complaints with Honda Corps but not much help either.This is the WORST service dealership I have ever dealt with.

We are so pleased with our experience at Long Beach Honda. I had spent roughly a week looking for 2016/2017 Honda Pilots and contacted nearly EVERY Honda dealership in Southern California. I spoke with Hoss and the first price he gave me beat every dealership I had called and didnt at all try to tell me how the car I was looking for was so rare and that he was the only one in California that had one (which happened several times with other dealerships). My husband and I went in with our guards up, anticipating that they were going to try to pull the wool over our eyes and pressure us into purchasing warranties or items that we werent interested in. Very much to our surprise, the whole transaction could not have gone any smoother. Norbert took us for the test drive in the car we were interested in. He was SO nice! He was thoroughly familiar with the car and explained all of the new features that the 2016 pilot had compared to the previous model. After the test drive, we told him wed like to purchase the car for the price they quoted us on the phone. He took the car to get it washed while we filled out our paperwork. We sat down with Aaron from financing to finalize our purchase. He was SO nice and gave us different warranty/servicing options and asked if we were interested in purchasing any of them. My husband and I did not feel pressured at all and we told him those were items that we werent interested in purchasing. Aaron was WONDERFUL and respected the fact that we werent interested in the extended warranty. He finalized the paperwork for us and we were finished with keys in hand within about 45 minutes of sitting down to process the paperwork. The whole process could not have gone any smoother. We are so thankful to the team at Long Beach Honda and we will definitely be back in the future!

I have purchased several cars from this dealer. Everyone I have talked to has been beyond curteous and helpful. Mark my salesman was great and he had to take me over to service so I could get another key made. Hugo at the service center quickly took care of it. Both always displaying a positive attitude and wanting to ensure I have everything I need. So with that being said is one of the reasons I keep coming back each time.

My experience purchasing my 1st HONDA car is excellent! Its the shortest/quickest car buying process i ever had! George is very good and very thorough upon introducing the car. I actually wanted a CIVIC EX-L, however, Miriam (I think she is the internet inquiry specialist), asked me if Im open for other options, i said yes. So she gave me an email with a quote for the ToURING as we spoke over the phone. So when we came to the Long Beach Branch, just by coming in, we felt the warmth of the people and the place. And George is waiting for us. He introduced himself very well and shown the car to us. He invited my whole family to hop in for the test drive. This guy is so thorough as he shown the features of the car. Upon returning to the office, i already know i will bring home that car. My Dad, who is a mechanic even got impressed with the car and gave me a 2 thumbs up. And my son even beg me to buy the car (maybe he knows that will be his car in 10 years, LOL)! So what else will i do? ¿ I bought the car! The finance people are very good. Marco and Carla are very good. They educate us with other options we can include to the car but they never insist and pressure us to get the things we dont want. Marco gave me a very good rate for the car and beat the pre-approval rate that i got from the Bank. So what else will you ask for! This people and this branch is superb! Keep up the good work! We are not "calling out" any particular employees of your dealership as all who assisted in our purchase of the car were very friendly and helpful. We have owned several Honda vehicles (cars & a truck) in the past and have been "over the top" pleased with all of them. All vehicles have required just minimal service even after years of ownership. All have cost us very little to own and drive (no down time). The servicing of these vehicles was always done at Long Beach Honda as they have a friendly and competent service department. My Honda had been recalled for the air bag problem. I brought in my car after being wrongly told by a service department representative that the repair could be made the next week and that I should come in to start a repair order to "get a good place in line." As it turned out, the arrival date of the parts was unknown. Hugo, getting approval from Armando, made it right. He agreed to keep my car until repairs could be made and arranged for a rental, although space was tight on the dealership lot due to the volume of recall repairs. Thanks so much, Hugo.

From there I had scheduled an appointment to view the HR-Vs on the lot. Jeff had introduced me to Demetric Wright who spent a great deal of time with me so that I could get what I wanted- at one point he had the pleasure of moving four cars just so that I could see the features in the EX just to compare them to the LX model - Im glad I did, I ended up with the EX! This was a great first car buying experience, very easy - no pressure, not what i expected.

"Attention To Detail In Customer Carei"
After seeing the only review and it being a "2" all I could think was, either the customer or the salesperson was having a less than stellar day. Because, our experience was just that, stellar. We had been to another "popular" dealer, for this brand, earlier in the day and thought that one of 3 guys were going to knock themselves out just to get to us. The fastest, and youngest beat out the other 2. Only problem was, after 45 minutes, we never actually left the lot to test a car. The salesperson was unable to use his passcode to get a key for the 2 models we wished to see. Although we told him we didnt mind waiting, he never sent word to us to tell us of the even bigger delay than the first one which had to be 15 minutes. After another 15 or so minutes, a guard walked over to us wondering why we were "in" the car. We told him the situation as well as the name of our salesperson and he said he would get in touch with him/her We watched the guard walk over to a manager (?) who was having a coffee. We thought it was about getting us help. Evidently, "out of site, out of mind". So, after another 15 minutes, with no one approaching us with information, help, advice ... a key?.. we decided to leave. Of course, the guard was still chatting with, what appeared to be a manager/supervisor of some sort. Who knows? And, at that point, who cared! After dinner, we headed out to Long Beach Honda. Absolutely no one rushed us. In fact, I thought they were closed for a moment as it was late on a weekend evening. A very polite gentleman walked up to us. I mentioned that I thought Id caught them at a bad time but he said that since they rotate who will walk up to a customer, he was waiting for the other salesman to approach. When he found that the other salesperson was going to be unavailable, he politely told us he would be happy to help. We knew what we wanted to look when we walked in, and he did not try to push us into something else. He was very respectful of all of our pre-planning. He was then able to point out features on the 2 vehicles we had in mind that we had not realized came with the cars. We immediately test drove our 2 models once the drivers; licenses were handled. Both vehicles were surprisingly excellent as we had tested some high end German make cars earlier.The reason we looked at Honda in the first place was because of the great reviews and evaluations it had in reliability, safety and performance. Those are the 3 most important traits in a vehicle which drives our choices in a purchase of a vehicle. Upon finishing the test drives, we explained we did not wish to deal in any way shape or form. We did oblige in the meeting of the sales manager out of respect for our wonderful salesperson. He was, for lack of a better phrase, "a bit more", but, fortunately, a few shades shy of pushy. I had told the salesperson that we would walk if there was even the slightest hint of "push". Without having been "forewarned" the sales manager did not "push" in a way that would make us walk out. He seemed mostly very conscientious and thorough making sure we knew even more than we did when we had arrived. We walked out knowing for certain, we would deal with them exclusively should we decide to buy the Honda product. Having had the opportunity to have dealt with 3 other dealers (excluding the one at which we never drove a car or even received help), having found lots of great features on on of the other 3 brands and models of cars with fairly good salespeople, we knew that if all things were equal or even close to equal, the final decision would be about where we had felt we had the best overall experience. If Honda was the only car that we were considering, we know exactly where we would buy it. Long Beach Honda, hands down. This review is being written before we have finalized our choices, however, there was a concern one of us would forget to give credit to our favorite dealer of the day, Long Beach Honda
"2010 Honda Accord Exl"
I called on a Thursday wanting to see a Honda Accord that was advertised, and I was interested in test driving it as well. I was hoping if the deal went well I would have a new car by the weekend. However, the Salesman that answered my call informed me the car was not on the lot, because the Sales Manager took it for personal use for the day. The car was supposed to be returned the next day by 1:30pm. I couldnt make it in the dealership the next day, so I called and came in on Saturday. I finally got to see the car, but I was disappointed there was trash in the car, a spill that wasnt cleaned up on the leather driver seat and an ink mark on the back seat. There was also an old piece of rug that was used to protect the floor mat that was mistakenly left for me to see. It was clear the car was being used for personal reasons often, and I felt disrespected by not having the car ready for me to see. I left without the car and felt bad for the Salesman that continued to make excuses for the trash as he stuffed it in his pockets. After the weekend went by and not finding another car, I thought Id try one more time since I wouldnt be financing with this dealership. I feel I got a good deal, but again the person that should have helped me was too busy so a new hired employee proceeded to give me confusing information to the point I was ready to walk out again. The confusion ended when a Sr. Sales Manager was summoned to clear up the confusion. I love the car but the dealership personnel are unprofessional and need to reevaluate how they treat their customers.
