I called and told them what was going on and someone said they never heard of the problem. If they never heard of this problem why was there this copy of a Repal problem for the 2006 Ford Fusion online. For this problem the service was good. but The calling your Customers to let them know that there car is done could use some work.

I put my car in for service and ran into a problem I had several other times. When I make my appointment online on your website, it wont export to your service departments system, so when I come in to drop my car off, I get treated like I dont know what Im talking about and then get told, "Youll have to wait until the afternoon to get the car looked at." Were it not for another associate jumping in and getting my order details, I would have spent more time there because of a system error you should have had fixed several times over.

I took advantage of the Freedom Ford shuttle service because the service was going to take about 3 hours to complete. The Service Dept called me with the status and what my car needed. EXTREMELY accommodating. One Thursday night (9:00 PM) as soon as I got across the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge a light came on my cars dashboard "Service Engine Now". I had no idea what this meant. I was just "hoping" the car wouldnt stall or shut down on me. Im not a mechanic. I did find out what time you opened the next day ... a Friday, I had the car at your Service Dept. by 7:05 AM ... yes despite the fact the Service Dept. didnt open until 7:30 AM. Despite the fact I was "unannounced/unscheduled" appointment ... "Gary" listened to me ... told me he was taking appointments ... was booked through the following Wed. When I was through explaining what was going on with my life/schedule that was dependent on my car ... Gary told me if I didnt mind waiting a bit ... when his morning "surge" of customers was over ... he, himself, would take a look at my car ... to check out that "Service Engine" light ... see if it was a "major" or "minor" issue. Your outside bench + the warm August weather was ideal for waiting & getting some college reading done. Gary held to his word. He did come out & checked out the light. It turned out to a very "minor" issue. But before Gary checked my car ... we didnt know that. Gary, himself was able to fix the error. To say I was grateful to him is an "understatement". BOTTOM LINE: I will continue to take my car to your Service Dept. even if its for something like a regular, minor thing such as "changing the oil".
