"Billing For Work That Was Not Performed!"
On Sept 29, 2017, I brought my Toyota Camry for 10K check up at Toyota Miller Anaheim. I took before and after service photos of my car. Later that day, I was reviewing and comparing the photos and I noticed that the positions of all 4 wheels after the servicing are exactly the same position as before the servicing. Toyota Miller invoice showed TIRE ROTATION was performed but the photos showed the tires were not rotated. My mags have unique markings/leftover adhesive….that is how I can tell the tires were not rotated. Who knows what else the technician, Mr. Steven De La Cruz, did not perform but billed my invoice? I complained to their Service Director Mr. Andrew Baer. I’m dissatisfied with their services due to their inadequate quality control and loose management. I’m changing dealer.

We brought our 2015 Avalon In for service and to Inspect and diagnosis my door window that seemed to have cracked with no signs of impact. They did not call me back when they said they would. I had to call them to find out about my car. It seemed that the 2 hours they said it would take ran into almost all day. when I went to pick up my car, the window glass was cracked a lot more than when we dropped it off. They also did not check the battery terminal corrosion condition that was part of the service. Phi told me that they had. The battery terminal was still corroded and mentioned nothing about it to us. Phi told us the cracked glass would be covered under warranty and he would order it, then call us when it comes in. Again no call. I called him left a message. He called me back and said he would make the appointment to have the glass replaced under warranty, and he would be there to greet us. We showed up on time and Phi Thai was nowhere to be found, in fact, there was no one to help us. After spending over 35 min. we decided to go find some one. We got shuffled off on to another Service Writer that had his own customers to deal with. When we tried to explain to him our frustration and concerns, he told us, I am just going to write your ticket and in so many words said I dont want to hear about any of your complaints or I will stop helping you. After I left expecting to have the glass installed that they ordered, I had to call them again. This time we talked to Frank Carbajal the General Manager which again seem to brush us aside. After having the car almost all day again, we finally get a call from them and was told it would not be covered under warranty. They have done nothing for our car for the whole day they had it. They had made the crack worse than when we brought it in the first time for inspection, and now are saying that it was caused by an outside source so it is not covered. The worst experience I have ever I mean ever experienced at a Dealership in 35+ years.

This service department is open on Sundays, its less busier than Saturdays. I get work done in their lounge while I wait for my car. I always ask for Rafael, you can tell he cares about his customers. My car is always done when promised, and he speaks Spanish also!

I recently brought my car in because it was making a noise and Mr. Rivera was very helpful in explaining what my car needed to get done to get it fixed and how long it would take. I got shuttled home in a timely manner, got picked up when it was ready, it was a smooth process! It was a plus my car had been washed and vacuumed! Ill be back to get my car serviced by Mr. Rivera and also be recommending to friends and family!

I sent in an inquiry on a particular van and received a reply from the salesman. We spoke on the phone and told him that I would be in on Sunday. I called Sunday and spoke with him, letting him know that my family and I were on our way in. We live about an hour from the dealership and wanted to make sure he was prepared for us. We arrived and met the salesman I has spoken to. He took us out to the van on the far corner of the lot only to discover the keys werent in the lock box. We waited there while he went to retrieve them. It was a cold windy day and he left us waiting for 10-15 minutes. He came back and said he still couldnt find the keys, so come into the dealership while they call a guy who can make a key for them. We waited some more. Another 15 minutes he returns to say that theyre still waiting to her from the key guy, and that it might take a little while longer since it was Thanksgiving weekend. So we waited some more. Another 15 or so he finally comes back to say that they havent heard back from the key guy and it wasnt looking hopeful. He apologized and told us that theyll have a key made on Monday and for our inconvenience, he would bring the van to our home so we can look at it. It was a nice gesture considering he wasted our time by not being prepared and locating the keys before we drove an hour to the dealership. Well, its been a week and we still never heard from the salesman. Very unprofessional.

This review covers my recent experience with Miller Toyota of Anaheim CA. This was a bad situation from the get go. We purchased our Toyota Prius vehicle new from Miller Toyota in 2010. We religiously followed all upkeep on the car for six years. At the 120K miles we took it in. The engine was fired. The dealership wanted $6,200 to put in a new engine. Machines break. I got that. The entire process of having to replace a vehicle that should NOT have broken was distasteful. In walks our salesman John Kuntz into this mess. John was patient and answered all our questions. He found a used car that would help us get back on a normal track to meet our needs. John took his time and tried different approaches to make a deal fit for us. John went out of his way to be helpful. I would work with him again. What amazed me the most was the cost, cost and added cost Miller Toyota plied on to our experience. I had a broken car with a fried engine. Miller Toyota wanted $3,200 just to put the engine back in my car UNREPAIRED so I could limp it home. I didnt ask for a free ride. I wanted to put a positive spin on a bad situation. Without John I would have towed home a broken car and owed thousands of dollars to Miller Toyota. Was I treated fairly by John? YES. Will I go back to Miller Toyota again? NO, I have no faith in their car service department.

This is an amazing store. The sales people are so great and helpful. When my wife and I wanted to buy a tacoma we called every store in a 40 mile radius. Miller Toyota was the only store that had it in the color we wanted. When we got there, the vibe was electric and our sales person John Kuntz was awesome. He showed us the truck and explained all the features. Then he took us for a test drive. After we got back we went inside and he worked out a great deal for us. He also introduced us to one of the service managers and gave us a tour of the parts department. I have never been treated like a VIP at a dealer before and this was great. I highly recommend this dealer to anyone buying a car.

Kenny helped me after the service center was closed even though he didnt have to. He then offered his direct line and was accessible throughout the 2 day process. He walked me through the options and kept me updated frequently. He was also very friendly and knowledgeable, explaining everything so I could understand it. I came in to Toyota to get my Prius Vs oil changed. After speaking with my service manager, he recommended I talk to Vince Dumagat in the Internet sales department to see if he could help get me into something I was looking for. I have two huskies that I love to travel with, but the back seat of the Prius V makes it difficult for the dogs to stand in because of the plastic back. Vince was super friendly from the get go. We walked the entire lot looking for the car that was what I wanted. We found a perfect Prius Two. We went back to his desk, filled out some paper work, and was extremely honest with how long it would take and how long he would be leaving me alone for. I never felt deserted. After some back and fourth, Vince was able to help get me out of my upside-down loan and into a lease!

I originally went to Toyota of Garden Grove, but they were not very welcoming to me and they also did not have any inventory for what i was looking for in a used car, but when i came to Toyota of Anaheim I met a very nice welcoming sales agent Vince Dumagat and he showed my father in law and I many nice used and new cars, he showed me everything i was looking for in a car as well, which was a relief because he really was trying to find me the perfect car. Many people think that all car sales men/women are pushy for selling the expensive cars, but that was far from my experience, i got exactly what i was looking for, and iam very happy. Also Surgio with the finance department worked very hard to get me my car ASAP, which is also a relief because i no longer will have to walk, bus or ride my bike. Thank You, Anaheim of Toyota.
