My wife and I needed to replace an older VW that was high mileage. Vehicle needed repairs we could not afford and Teena helped us find a new car that we could afford. While the payment was a bit more than we were paying, she made the experience fun and pleasant. They had a car I was very interested in buying. They are a 4 hr drive so I asked several questions and askew to ed that they work up their best out the door to be sure it was a deal I could agree to. The listed price was about 13700 which I thought was a very good price. By the time they finished adding several fees and maintenance costs it grew to 17200. i am very disappointed.

I was skeptical about this dealership after reading other reviews. Several reviews have mentioned the extra fees are high and I agree. They get you in with the listed price. Ultimately I bought the car because I still felt I was getting a good deal. Mike was easy to work with. I will say the service couldve been better as I didnt get a spare key or floor mats. They also only filled the tank up halfway. Overall still a good experience

I emailed to ask about financing and to find out if the vehicle was still available and received a call back immediately. They went above and beyond my expectations and answered any questions I had. We did most of the paperwork over the phone to shorten the process upon arrival at the dealership. Everyone was very friendly and helpful they even direct us to a great place to eat afterward! From my initial email contact at 10 pm with a real person, to the greeting at the front door, the test drives all the way through financing, Cook made it all easy. She had no issue with my taking the car to my mechanic for a informal inspection, and she even had Cook staff pick up my trade as well as having the vehicle delivered to my home since I was not driving my car. The Finance dept, found me a spectacular rate and payment plan that works for me. Could not be happier.

My friends and I talk all the time how we hate the "Process" of buying a car. You can walk in and know what you want and dont haggle and your still there for a day. I even bought a car 2 years prior across the street from this dealer and they bad mouthed them. Cook was fantastic! Considerate, concerned, and professional. My mother just turned 70 and her last desire was to own a beetle again. She is on a fixed income. THis dealer was A+ from management, sales and financing. All personally invested in our satisfaction. "Dont Understand This Place."
I honestly dont understand this place. It almost seems like they dont want to sell cars. I went to this location, looked at a couple vehicles, asked for them to put an offer together on a bmw, was told the sales manager was working on another deal, was told they would give me a call in a few hours and never heard back from the sales women Teena. The car I was interested in is still sitting on their lot a month later. I ended up buying a similar car from a dealership across the street.

"Lucy The Bug"
My husband and I started looking for vehicles and found a cute little yellow one at Cook. After expressing our interest on their website we received a call and went in to browse. We arrived at the dealership at 8:30PM! At the time we went to the dealership we really werent looking to buy, just to browse. Teena showed us the 2013 VW Bug and I fell in love. The vehicle was proudly shown on the show room floor and rightfully so. Teena showed us the works of the vehicle and helped us get to a monthly payment that worked with us. She was an absolute joy to work with and made us feel like part of the Cook Family from the second we walked in until the second we walked out. Even though we didnt leave the lot until nearly midnight, Teena never tried to rush us or force us out the door. Weve been pack to the dealership twice to finish and discuss paperwork and all the Cook Employees have been fabulous. My husband is already looking forward to purchasing our next vehicle from them.
"Kerstetter Was Very Rude"
I was just in Saturday with my husband and we purchased a vehicle from Wayne.. Let me just say Wayne was AMAZING! He was so nice and very explanatory of all the paperwork.. If this review was just on Wayne it would be 5 Stars! But anyways, my husband and I told Wayne that we would be financing our car through our bank and he said that was totally fine. So we called yesterday and talked to Mr. Kerstetter whom is the Finance Manager.. When he found out our bank would be e-mailing him the paperwork so that way he could be paid in full for the car, and we could just go through the bank... His whole attitude with us changed and he became very VERY rude. He called back saying his bank was able to get us a better rate than their first offer, and even better then the rate our bank gave us. But we kindly told him our bank faxed the paper, because he claimed he didnt see it in his email (and at this point I dont know what to believe). Well when he heard we faxed it over he just hung up on my husband. There was nothing more unprofessional and childish that couldve been done at that point. Wayne was absolutely wonderful and Id recommend him to anyone; and Im thoroughly enjoying my new car. But Mr. Kerstetter definitely ruined the experience of my husband and I buying our first car together. We werent trying to be a hassle; just working with our bank is what works better for us. We are YOUR customers and you have to work with what works best for us if you want to make the sale. As I aforementioned; Wayne knew we were waiting to hear back from our bank, so its not like we hit anyone with a surprise here. It just wasnt as convenient for him.

Teena was SO friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. My boyfriend Eric was buying his first car and she made the process as smooth as possible, which is nice because we all know how annoying car buying usually is. We had a hiccup with insurance last minute and she went out of her way to work at getting him the best rate possible. Overall they were able to get him a lower interest rate while still getting the payment down a few dollars. I would definitely recommend her to any one and will hopefully be going back to buy from her myself at some point!

ON the 23rd of December, I bought a new VW from Cook Volkswagen of Bel Air, Maryland. Ive been buying cars from New England to South Florida since the early 80s so Ive seen pretty much everything. I have to say that without a doubt, the best experience Ive ever had in buying a car was at Cook. The staff was friendly and professional and not the least bit pushy. My wife and I worked with Teena Cardoni in buying our car. Teena was wonderful. We walked in to the dealership at 9:00 am and left with the new car in about an hour later, which included financing the car through Cook. The maintenance folks and the general manager were also super courteous and great to work with. I will definately be buying another car from these folks.

Teena and I spoke on the phone just a little after 9:30 this morning. We discussed the possibility of trading in my 2008 Passat Wagon. I answered a handful of questions and she told me shed get right on it. We spoke a few more times throughout the day, she let me know the value of my trade and gave me some vehicles to choose from in my price range. By 6:00 p.m. this evening I was at the dealership signing my paperwork. Teena handed me my keys and I drove off the lot within an hour and a half! Just in case you are wondering, my credit is not great by any means. Teena was still able to get me a great deal. If you are looking for a new car I strongly recommend you go see Teena! My recent experience at Cook Volkswagen was a pleasant buying experience. I have been in the market to upgrade my daughters first car, Convertible New Beetle. When had been getting the Beetle serviced at Cook for the last six years and completely satisfied with the service team as well as VW. Salesman Robert Dawson was very responsive to my initial inquiry and a pleasure to do business with. I am a tough cookie when it comes to negotiating and making big purchases. And I must say, the Cook team was patient, fair and on top of it!! Mr. Dawson was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond. I purchased the car as a surprise and the Cook team made it a special moment by presenting her with the car wrapped in a pretty pink bow. I just left this dealership and Teena the sales rep at Cook Volkswagen was HORRIBLE. We spoke on the phone Wednesday and she seemed to be professional. She assured me that the vehicle I was interested in would be transferred to this location so I could test drive and purchase. I drove an hour to get here today only to be informed that the vehicle never arrived. She had every excuse except the fact that she dropped the ball. I would not recommend using this dealership. I had a wonderful experience during the purchase of my first real new car. I called the Cooks VW automobile company. I was able to purchase a vehicle even though I had an open Chapter 13 Bankruptcy, Mr.. Robert assured me that he would get me into a car and he came through with his word. I was able to get an approval to purchase the vehicle and no time. Once I had the approval he was able to give me real advice and gave me my keys the same evening within a few hours.

I was referred to Teena Cardoni by a friend and I am so glad I made the call to her! After going to several other dealerships and being told I needed a cosigner and more money down, I was highly discouraged. When I called Teena, she immediately made me feel like I was talking to someone I had known all my life. She was warm, welcoming and compassionate to my needs. Due to my work schedule I was forced to cancel and reschedule several times. I fully expected Teena to ignore me but she continued to call and text me, encouraging me to give her the opportunity to make me happy.
