What a great Car - 2004 Volvo XC70
By Kevin - December 17 - 2:00 amI was looking for a decent used AWD car for the winter. I purchased this XC70 and Im totally blown away. I like this 2004 XC70 better than my New 2009 Honda accord. Wish i had bought a volvo sooner..XC70 wagon is a great addition..

When they have friends stay over we have the third row seating so extra seating room. It is great. The only thing I do not like about the car is the soccer mom look of the exterior. I wish the bumper was not wrapped in the plastic look either

My 2nd XC & Third Volvo - 2004 Volvo XC70
By Steve G - July 8 - 10:00 amBought the 2003 to replace my 2000 and boy am I glad I did. Although the 2000 was a really nice car, it does not compare to the 2003. Roomier interior and great looking exterior make it a great option over an SUV. After driving Pathfinders and Explorers for 10 years, I can not imagine going back to an SUV. Great in the snow (anyone who lives in the NYC area can attest to the winter we had) as well as dry pavement..

No longer driving an SUV - 2004 Volvo XC70
By mhldca - January 13 - 10:00 amVery nice creature comforts for the little ones and Mom, great handling and power with the LP turbo for Dad. Mom likes the extra room the wagon has for the dog and groceries on the beach weekends, and the last Volvo a family member owned lasted 350K miles.

Kid Again Feeling - 2004 Volvo XC70
By Scooters - August 9 - 10:00 amFinally bought it.Always liked the XC70.My Wife and son were in an MVA recently in her Volvo S40 with an SUV and the S40 held up amazingly.Any other car in the S40 class would have yielded far more severe injuries. Volvos safety is first class. We chose to replace the S40 with another Volvo, more family practical vehicle. As much as I enjoy my SUV, SUVs cannot compete with the XC70.Rides the way we all wish SUVs should.Accelerates, brakes& corners like many sedans.Feels as comfortable as many luxury vehicles.Great driving experience.And knowing that my wife and son are in one of the safest vehicles on the road, the best feeling. No SUV rollovers.

Why I like my Volvo... - 2004 Volvo XC70
By Skittles - January 13 - 10:00 amI have been very pleased with my XC70! I need my car to be able to handle well in the mountains and on the highway, and it does both very well. It grips the road for great control on wet or dry pavement, plus has great brakes and very good acceleration at high speeds. I often have 6+ friends in the car and Im able to fit 3 of them in easily. Also, the solid construction allows for a quiet ride and the seats are very comfortable!
