By Pelicanu - January 7 - 2:00 amWhen I changed from our family Honda Odyssey to the Touareg, I suddenly realized how much I was missing in driving pleasure and security on the road. No longer I had to be afraid on tight, winding roads that the car is out of balance. The Touareg carves through those roads very precise and confortable...no more tight grips of the steering wheel!

By jmontoro - November 26 - 2:00 am1 great suv.Blows x5 away.Ride is adj w/ air susp option & there are noticeable diff btwn the 3 settings.Quieter than X5,virtually no wind noise.Steering is solid & responsive.Accel w/ the 310hp V8 will snap head back. 6 spd auto for normal driving/5 spd sport for spirited.Shift points are smooth.Safety features:side/curtain airbags,adj height seat blts,smart windows that go back down if you stick your hand in.On board air comp to inflate the spare or a raft,.Stnd features are great

So Far So Good - 2004 Volkswagen Touareg
By Jason B. - November 22 - 10:00 amI just purchased my Touareg V6 with Premium II, and so far I have not encountered any problems I have read here. Test drove FX35, felt a bit harsh, and my 3 year old complained during the test drive. Test drove RX330, solid Lexus quality, but there are just so dang many and boring. Ride quality felt like that of a Camry. Test drove the Volvo XC90 T6 AWD (this is the top of line twin turbo). Touareg V6 has more guts than the Volvo T6 AWD. Touareg felt the most solid out of all these cars I just mentioned. It seems like they just need to work out the little kinks.

By cragger - October 27 - 10:00 amI love my Touareg. It handles as well as my Audi S4 and has much more utility. The build quality is impeccable and there really isnt an SUV that rides better. Of course the off road capabilities are amazing, but Ill never use them. I think its really overengineered, but it works. Dealership is great and has taken care of me thus far.

By jmob - October 14 - 2:00 amFrom the moment I got the truck, Ive loved it.. The V8 is great, powerful and very responsive. In the snow, its better then my old A6. Interior is great and roomy, the only slight I can think of is the car likes to drink gas.. Enjoy....

Excellent Peoples Car - 2004 Volkswagen Touareg
By E Medina - August 28 - 10:00 amThere is a lot of reading and getting used to. The transmission is unbelievable with 6 gears and auto or standard shifting. The car is solid and perfect body work and the motor is powerful. Interior is perfect and the dash lights at night are Blue and Red for easy reading. Headlights are excellent with high intensity the brakes are excellent the best yet. There is some residue on the wheels from brake dust but a good washing will fix that. Im very satisfied and so is the wife.
