Fun Car to Have. - 2007 Toyota Yaris
By Daniel - April 16 - 2:06 amI love my Yaris. It has all the equipment I wanted in a new car, gets great gas mileage, its a blast to drive and its a freakin Toyota so I can rely on it for years and years to come. At first I was skeptical of the Yaris and never thought that I would own one. I kept thinking that I could never go back to a little car, especially coming out of a 95 Olds. sedan. But the more I complained about the gas mileage my tank of a car was getting, the more appealing the Yaris became. Not to mention the price point is just as attractive as the styling.

Absolutely Fabulous - 2007 Toyota Yaris
By Robert - March 23 - 9:30 amGreat car! I am a very frugal (okay, cheap) shopper who goes over everything with a fine tooth comb. This car is great. I owned a Geo Metro for 5 years and considered an Aveo. The Yaris is the best of the three with the most power performance, the most room, and the best at making me smile when I drive. IF I get rid of it before I retire, Ill looking to get another!

Love it! - 2007 Toyota Yaris
By Liz - March 22 - 11:06 pmIve always had small American cars. I was tired of throwing money away after 60K. Everyone I know that has a Toyota, loves it. I thought it was about time I owned one. I love my mothers Rav4 but it was too pricy for my budget. My Yaris has every single upgrade except a spoiler & is still a better deal than a basic Corolla.

Update on Yaris - 2007 Toyota Yaris
By OKJoe - March 22 - 8:13 amAfter just over 1000 miles, we took a trip to OK City on Friday. We got 330 miles out of exactly 9 gallons of gas for a total of 36.7 miles per gallon, all highway on cruise control, going about 74 MPH. Everything is great so far. I have the same complaints as my first review. I have to agree that the seats are not as comfortable as Id like on long trips. They might break in though after a while. A minor complaint is that the turn signal auto shut off could be more sensitive. I seem to have to shut it off manually on slow wide turns. Otherwise we both love the car!

Long Term Review - 2007 Toyota Yaris
By CJH - March 16 - 5:20 amIve owned the Yaris since it first came out in July of 2006. Mechanically speaking, this car has been perfect. Never had a problem with 45k miles on it. That being said, this car has serious faults in other aspects. 1) The interior quality is abysmal. Ive had a dash rattle for 3 years now that 3 dealerships have been unable to fix. My window roller broke within 3 months, and the trunk has had issues with sounds and closing. 2) This car failed me in the snow, spinning out and nearly getting seriously wrecked. 3) Over time you feel claustrophobic in here. 4) Jumpy acceleration is unpredictable from a stop, sometimes hurting my neck, or almost hitting other cars. 5) Serious lack of power.

Best car and so reliable - 2007 Toyota Yaris
By marie - March 13 - 3:56 amI have been so happy with this car especially the fantastic mileage that I am getting. On long distance trips, I have figured that I get 50 miles to the gallon. I feel very safe and secure in this car and the maintenance has been insignificant. Just changing oil and the basics. I drive a great deal and it is wonderful in the winter weather. I will definitely stay with the Yaris.

wow - 2007 Toyota Yaris
By leanne_ - March 10 - 6:26 amI am so in love with this car. I drive an hour back and forth to work five days a week and only spend about $25/week on gas. Its comfortable, reliable, snazzy, and perfect for city driving/parking. I would recommend this car to anyone.

Bert the traveler - 2007 Toyota Yaris
By Kathleen Williams - January 31 - 12:29 pmI just bought the car and I already love Bert! Hes dependable and fun. Everytime I drive him we cracks me up. I love the gas mileage! So far no maintenance and I believe it will stay that way. If I ever have to replace Bert it will be hard to for the price. Bert is a 5 speed manual. Ive never driven around standard (Im 54), but Bert was a breeze to learn to drive. Ive driven and had other cars that I thought were great. Bert delivers! Hes not fancy or high tech. I got him with 131,000. Hes a good road tripper. My son bought a 2009 that he loved. I helped him pick it out. Berts 9 years old and he looks amazing and he drives great. I wasnt buying a Ferrari, but Bert is my favorite car Ive ever known. Dont expect expensive technology with whistles and bells. Do expect to have fun everytime you go. I got more than I paid for it. I love Bert and I will replace him someday with his family of Toyota. Plus he was made right here in the USA. I love America and try to buy from this great country. Shame on you if you dont!

My New Yaris - 2007 Toyota Yaris
By cathy t - December 21 - 11:56 pmI just love this car. If youve ever driven a Camry, this is just a scaled down version of one, in my opinion. With the 15" wheels, it hugs the curves and has good acceleration. I was going 80mpg and never realized it. Thats part of the Toyota experience. You cant go wrong with anything built by Toyota.

Greatness!! - 2007 Toyota Yaris
By pyscez2 - December 18 - 5:53 pmBeing the island girl that I am, I wanted to get me a car that was fun to drive all over the island and would not use a whole tank of gas. The Yaris has been nothing but good to me. Shes a beauty and she runs like a champ. In fact, I tricked my Yaris out and Im always getting compliments about her. Its just a fun reliable car.
