  • We Survived - 2007 Toyota Yaris

I enjoy the road handling and acceleration of this economical joy. What I want to share with you is the accident experience I had; a front end accident on highway of stopped traffic. I was traveling about 60 mph and saw traffic stopped. I signaled to change lanes, but no one would move over. I slammed on brakes and impacted going 45 mph. I had the entire front hood and front suspension system rebuilt. You cannot tell we had the accident. Auto body staff said who ever built this car knew what they were doing. I was surprised the air bag didnot inflate, but I was safe and the dollar savings was significant. Additionally storage in trunk and access to passengers continues to impress me

  • Good Car not many standard features - 2007 Toyota Yaris

The driving has been great and the experience has been good, the only thing I feel not right is that in order to have basic features like power lock and power windows, I needed to pay extra, it is not included and in todays world those feature are a must!

  • New odd car - 2007 Toyota Yaris

Well, I just bought the odd car 2 days ago so the above evaluation is probably premature but accurate for as long as I had the car! I traded my Tacoma in, and Ive always had a truck, and at age 56, this is a new experience! I wanted the smallest, ugliest great gas mileage vehicle I could afford... and bingo... heres the Yaris! Roomy inside, plenty of pep, and fun, yes, fun to drive. I have the 5 speed, and its a riot to drive! Only drove it approximately 125 miles so far, but it looks like that will cost me around 10 bucks to fill up. Whew! I was getting tired of always looking at the gas gauge. And the Tacoma was a 4 cylinder getting around 20 mpg! Dont like the daytime driving lights, though.

  • Sweet little retirement car - 2007 Toyota Yaris

Im 63 so I wanted a cheap, basic, mileage car. I guess in my generation the basics are the basics. I dont need, cruise control, auto windows and all the rest. I did get air, stereo, power steering , five speed (dont need automatic). I also got gas mileage, that will come and go, though. I have gotten as low as 30.5 and as high as 39, it seems its always this way, but this is honest mileage. Sticker mileage, brag mileage, and honest mileage. But the car is cute, rides good, mileage O.K. but its NOT a turnpike cruiser with the goodies. I love it, 9.5 on a scale of 10. But over 40mph keep an eye on the speedo.

  • Yaris... From Toyota :-) - 2007 Toyota Yaris
    By -

Bought my Yaris on March 31st after comparing it to several other cars including the Honda Fit and Nissan Versa. Eventually I went back to the Yaris and easily found a nautical blue sedan with the power package with steel wheels, the keyless entry, side and side curtain airbags, and all weather package. After driving the Yaris for about 2 weeks, I absolutely love it! I love how I get 350 miles on one tank and it only cost $25 bucks to fill it up. :-D

  • Spacious car for its class - 2007 Toyota Yaris
    By -

I drive about 700 miles per week (practically all interstate), so I am loving the fuel economy. I went from an American mid-size car to this and really do not notice much difference in the comfort level. I have had this car about 3 weeks now and am getting around 35-37 mpg so far. That is enough savings to make 1/2 the payment!

  • YARIS 3 DOOR HATCHBACK - 2007 Toyota Yaris
    By -

Picked up a Yaris 3 door hatchback yesterday. It is one of the first ones on the road in NJ. I have owned two Toyota Echos and I can say that this is a much better car that sold for about the same price as the 2000 Echo. Quality paint, interior, ride and handling. This Yaris has a automatic trans.

  • 128,000+ miles and counting - 2007 Toyota Yaris
    By -

Bought my Yaris 4 years ago for combination of $$$, MPG, and proven Toyota reliability. Today, the car owes me nothing. Ive driven over 128,000 miles including two-month long cross-country car-camping trip last year that included 2 weeks in Alaska. Car still has original brakes, shocks - everything. Great car and simply cannot beat the value.

  • Yaris RULES! - 2007 Toyota Yaris
    By -

I love my Yaris, I have the 4-door sedan with automatic trans. Barcelona Red Metallic, with the B. Power Package. I live on the freeway and it is a dream to drive. It is an awesome investment.

  • Better than a hybrid - 2007 Toyota Yaris

At nearly 40 mpg this car is a commuters dream. If the steering wheel were two inches further away from the dash it would be perfectly comfortable for a tall guy like myself. All else is great.
