We Survived - 2007 Toyota Yaris
By StLou - October 4 - 10:00 amI enjoy the road handling and acceleration of this economical joy. What I want to share with you is the accident experience I had; a front end accident on highway of stopped traffic. I was traveling about 60 mph and saw traffic stopped. I signaled to change lanes, but no one would move over. I slammed on brakes and impacted going 45 mph. I had the entire front hood and front suspension system rebuilt. You cannot tell we had the accident. Auto body staff said who ever built this car knew what they were doing. I was surprised the air bag didnot inflate, but I was safe and the dollar savings was significant. Additionally storage in trunk and access to passengers continues to impress me

Good Car not many standard features - 2007 Toyota Yaris
By Sarai Graterol - September 25 - 12:20 amThe driving has been great and the experience has been good, the only thing I feel not right is that in order to have basic features like power lock and power windows, I needed to pay extra, it is not included and in todays world those feature are a must!

Sweet little retirement car - 2007 Toyota Yaris
By Darryl - September 2 - 5:10 pmIm 63 so I wanted a cheap, basic, mileage car. I guess in my generation the basics are the basics. I dont need, cruise control, auto windows and all the rest. I did get air, stereo, power steering , five speed (dont need automatic). I also got gas mileage, that will come and go, though. I have gotten as low as 30.5 and as high as 39, it seems its always this way, but this is honest mileage. Sticker mileage, brag mileage, and honest mileage. But the car is cute, rides good, mileage O.K. but its NOT a turnpike cruiser with the goodies. I love it, 9.5 on a scale of 10. But over 40mph keep an eye on the speedo.

Yaris... From Toyota :-) - 2007 Toyota Yaris
By XoQuixxoQAFXo - August 29 - 11:50 amBought my Yaris on March 31st after comparing it to several other cars including the Honda Fit and Nissan Versa. Eventually I went back to the Yaris and easily found a nautical blue sedan with the power package with steel wheels, the keyless entry, side and side curtain airbags, and all weather package. After driving the Yaris for about 2 weeks, I absolutely love it! I love how I get 350 miles on one tank and it only cost $25 bucks to fill it up. :-D

Spacious car for its class - 2007 Toyota Yaris
By James - August 27 - 10:00 pmI drive about 700 miles per week (practically all interstate), so I am loving the fuel economy. I went from an American mid-size car to this and really do not notice much difference in the comfort level. I have had this car about 3 weeks now and am getting around 35-37 mpg so far. That is enough savings to make 1/2 the payment!

YARIS 3 DOOR HATCHBACK - 2007 Toyota Yaris
By PINNACLE - August 14 - 11:03 pmPicked up a Yaris 3 door hatchback yesterday. It is one of the first ones on the road in NJ. I have owned two Toyota Echos and I can say that this is a much better car that sold for about the same price as the 2000 Echo. Quality paint, interior, ride and handling. This Yaris has a automatic trans.

Better than a hybrid - 2007 Toyota Yaris
By boen - July 23 - 12:23 amAt nearly 40 mpg this car is a commuters dream. If the steering wheel were two inches further away from the dash it would be perfectly comfortable for a tall guy like myself. All else is great.

Satisfied Customer - 2007 Toyota Yaris
By michael - June 20 - 3:36 pmA very good car. Im 63 and fit comfortably but snugly into the car. The principle options I wanted were the convenience package, antilock brakes, and side impact airbags. I found they are not building any Yaris sedans with side impact airbags because it would raise the cost and make it uncompetative with rivals. I would have paid the $1000 extra.
