This Year's Model Updates:

An old nameplate makes a comeback. The 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser is a new SUV that takes the philosophy of Toyota's old compact but tough off-roader and adapts it to meet the demands of the 21st-century consumer.

Pros:
  • Superior off-road ability, comfortable and supportive front seats, retro styling that captures the spirit of the original.
Cons:
  • Limited visibility fore and aft, rear-seat entry hindered in spite of reverse-opening doors.

Great truck! Im very happy with the look. Everyone looks and points. I would strongly recommend getting the upgraded radio w/sub woofer package if you get the roof racks. The wind noise is deafening.

  • Best all around - 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser

I purchased my FJ in January not really knowing what I was getting into. I had read all the reviews and looked at all the videos. My friends were trying to discourage me but I went ahead and got it anyway. I have to say with all my years in vehicle ownership this by far is the most well built, most reliable, and the best priced out of the box car I have ever owned. It drives like a car, its a beast off roading, and is priced so anyone can afford it. Gas mileage could be better but the power and torque it produces outweighs it. Interior is surprisingly spacious with lots of leg room front and back. It feels like a solidly built SUV. Test drive!

Owned for two weeks now. Fast, tight, excellent off road in first off road excursion. In town mileage first two tanks avg 19 mpg. Handles well in town and on the highway. You will get looks and kudos where ever you go.

  • A Fun and Fantastic Ride! - 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser

Bought this car for both fun and family. All in all it has worked out perfectly. I thought it might be a little difficult getting an infant seat out of the back doors but I can do it even without adjusting the front seats. It gets up and goes with the slightest pressure on the gas pedal which makes it great if you have to zoom past someone to exit the freeway. Interior is really wide and you have a ton of headroom. Suspension rides like a dream. I take this crawling every other weekend and it takes every bump with ease.

  • Brilliant, Brilliant - 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser

This is the most value and individuality you will ever find in an automobile. Performance and comfort far exceeded my expectations. Visibility is also better than one would think and the styling lights up every child you will ever meet. This is a flawless execution of the cutest car money can buy all for an incredibly cheap price.

  • We love this car - 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser

We bought this car in July and immediately headed to Arizona, Northern California and Washington. Drove it on highways and up steep dirt roads. This car loves to climb but its great on the highway too. Put 8k miles in 6 weeks and we loved every moment of the trip.

Great ride, performance, style, and engineering design. Job well done on Toyotas part. I can appreciate Toyotas bold move to make this vehicle happen for the consumer. This means a lot to auto enthusiasts.

Unbelievably fun to drive. Its roomy and quiet. I especially like the backup warning system. The stereo is unreal, hard to tell where the music is coming from. The back door is huge and opens in the "correct" direction. The air conditioner? You could hang meat in here. Oil filter is very easy to change with a drain built into the engine compartment to make changing oil a clean job. My friends comment on how solid it sounds when a door is shut. Warning: Do not press the brake pedal with any force if you dont want to stop, right now. The build quality is awesome. I can see two of these in our driveway. Absolutely no regrets about buying this vehicle. Thank you Toyota.
