  • Smile cause its cheap! - 2006 Suzuki Forenza

People that complain about this car need to either remember they got a great deal on it, or they need to negotiate better next time they purchase. I believe that Suzukis in general are "decent" cars, not at the same level of say Toyota or Honda, but same or perhaps better than American "small" cars. I was in the market for a Corola, but found the price too high. I paid at least 20% less, so I can live with the compromises. I purchased a fully loaded 5-speed and enjoy the performance once I get out of 2nd gear. The "get up an go" from a dead stop is too slow and so is the 1st to 2nd gear shift, once youre shifting out of 2nd its a rocket! Gas mileage is unacceptably low (22-26mpg).

I am so impressed with this car. The price is great, the performance is impressive, and the look works. Not so generic looking as the hondas and toyotas. Mine is the premium with the alloys and moonroof, white, with a black pinstripe. Feels like a much bigger car, holds the road well. Mines an auto, has great acceleration. Not as stiff riding as the other cars, but I prefer that. plus, the best warranty in the country. Whats not to like?

  • Reliability in an upscale package - 2006 Suzuki Forenza

I purchased my Suzuki Forenza (premium pkg, automatic) after test driving the Toyota Corolla and the Nissan Sentra. What sold me was the quality of the materials, the great build quality and exceptional ride and handling. As long as you dont take corners like a sportscar enthusiast there is hardly any lean. The quiet ride at highway speeds makes you feel your in a much bigger sedan. There is some minor wind noise that is only noticeable in the abscence of any sound system / conversation (not so likely). The interior is upscale in quality and materials and really attractive with the black / silver dash / controls. My first tank of gas only yielded 20 mpg, but that was mostly city driving. I am completeley satisfied!

  • My Forenza rocks! - 2006 Suzuki Forenza

I love love love this car. It was obviously well taken care of by the previous owner, had 41k miles on it when purchased. Zero problems so far. I am 510" & it is roomy enough for me. Averages 27 mph, city driving. So fun to drive that I honestly drive more than I should.

We just got our Forenza wagon. We love it. It has room for our family. The stereo system is great. We travel on the weekends to ball tournaments and it hold all my sons ball stuff. Drive like a dream. It has lots of extras for not a lot of money. I would buy one all over again.

  • So Far So Good! - 2006 Suzuki Forenza

I have 2,000 miles on my 2006 Forenza wagon with an auto transmission. Im 5 11", 265 lbs., and am VERY comfortable in this vehicle. Mag rims are a must; the standard rim / hubcap setup cheapens the look of an otherwise handsome vehicle. I am impressed by how quiet a ride the car has, and doing 80 mph happens without effort. The ride is comfortable, the stereo is supreme, and the warranty, safety features, and other standard features that come with the vehicle are an incredible value in comparison to other imports of its class. I have no complaints whatsoever. I am very happy so far with my purchase.

  • love to drive my Forenza - 2006 Suzuki Forenza

I enjoy the way it handles. Its great on gas and so much fun to drive. I had a truck so its a nice change, especially with the gas mileage it gets. Its very roomy, which I like because a lot of small cars dont have a lot of room. My husband is over 6 feet tall and hes very comfortable driving it and being a passenger.

  • Good Value - 2006 Suzuki Forenza

I bought my 2006 Forenza as a 2nd car but in a week, it became my only car. I love this car. It is a great value for the money, looks good and is easy to drive. I wanted to buy an automatic but decided to stay with a stick since this is the only type of car I have owned. I choose to have leather interior installed and really think that I paid too much for my car. The gas mileage could be better but I was so glad to have a new car, it doesnt matter. My friends say that there is lots of leg room. This car rates high on my list as an economical investment for the money.

The Forenza Wagon is a great driving experience. It handles well on highways and in street driving, has a great turning capability, and gets OK gas mileage (there are more fuel effiecient wagons out there). The exterior styling is great, it looks like an Italian import. For price and overall value, I could not be happier.

  • Sad to see it go. - 2006 Suzuki Forenza

Bought The Frog, a Desert Green Base model 5-speed 2006 Forenza, when it was a year old with only 4000 miles for a bargain, only $9900. In only five and a half years I drove it to over 141,000 miles. The exhaust, cooling and A/C systems required no attention. Paint maintained original appearance and the car would not rust. Maintenance included changing the oil, synthetic only, filters and the rear brake pads. Suzuki also replaced a fried splice pack for the headlights, under recall. No other service or repairs were required! Everything else, including the battery, was original. I could have replaced the timing belt and continued trusting it indefinitely.
