This Year's Model Updates:

In an effort to get buyers under 30 into its dealerships, Toyota launches an all-new division called Scion. The brand will eventually grow to three models, but for now two are offered; one of these is a small but well-equipped five-door hatchback called the xA. Scion will use a no-haggle sales strategy and give buyers ample opportunity to customize their xAs, drawing upon a list of over three dozen dealer-installed options.

Pros:
Cons:
  • The cool stuff costs extra, modest passing power with automatic transmission, no cruise control.

  • Best Deal for the Money - 2004 Scion xA

I looked at all the other cars in this class, and even a few more expensive, and frankly, youd be hard pressed to find ANY other vehicle with as many standard features for a price this low. Everyone who has taken a ride in this car is stunned when I tell them the price.

My Scion xA is Great! It came with all toeh features of more expensive cars, and size wise its easy to find parking in San Francsico. Its a little jitteryg when hitting potholes or rough roads, but otherwise rides well. Ive had a reocurring problem with the passenger side rear speaker, and the dealership seems either unwilling or unable to correct the problem. Also, I have developed a rattle in the rear cargo cover that will not go away. Otherwise, a well put together car with many options that Ill be adding over the next few months.

What a car! You sure get loads of options for your money. Originally designed for the Gen Y crowd...Gen G (for geezers like me) will love it, too.

Well I have no complaints this car as over 100,000 miles and let me tell you I have only done simple maintenance on my car. This car is really great, stereo is great I even put 18 inch wheels and didnt change any shocks or anything. Its runs like now but will loose a little power after this many miles. Maybe because I push this car a lot I mean a lot.

Best buy you can ask for. Looked for a car for over two years and discovered Scion while looking at a Toyota. The "as is" pricing policy was such a pleasant experience compared to most dealers I visited. The car drives very smoothly, comes with great options, looks amazing, and gets unbelievable gas milage and insurance rates. Be prepared to receive glances and questions everywhere you go.

This car gets great gas mileage 32-36. this is very important to me because I am a courier and I use my car alot. It takes me less than $20.00 to fill up. If you are a big person this car will be a little tight for you. This is easy to get in and out of, you dont have to bend down to get into the car. This car comes with AC and a radio with a cd player. You get this for less than $14,000. Good Deal

It runs great except when its trying to climb a hill or going 70 mph, you have to really step on the gas hard. doesnt tell you when your car is REACHING the over heating point, so i can prevent it,just has the dummy light car IS over heated.door panel, plastic. when you are opening your door, your hand will brush against and there will be "dry skin" marks. When your headlight is left on,it will have a beeping noise.speaker-Everyone thought I had a sound system. The door handles are like the volkwagon.standard power locks and windows.looks like its sister, toyota matrix.gave me more than I would have ever expected from a car under 15000
