Overview & Reviews
In an effort to get buyers under 30 into its dealerships, Toyota launches an all-new division called Scion. The brand will eventually grow to three models, but for now two are offered; one of these is a small but well-equipped five-door hatchback called the xA. Scion will use a no-haggle sales strategy and give buyers ample opportunity to customize their xAs, drawing upon a list of over three dozen dealer-installed options.
- The cool stuff costs extra, modest passing power with automatic transmission, no cruise control.

Scion AKA My little Lexus - 2004 Scion xA
By J P Lewis - December 2 - 10:00 amBest bang for your buck. If the standard stereo isnt good enough for you your crazy. More than ample front seat room with the rear great for small children. No haggling here MSRP is the best they can do and it is obvious why.

SWEET! - 2004 Scion xA
By Renee - January 7 - 5:56 pmHave had the car for just over a month. Was my birthday prize from my husband. My 18 year old son loves it, although he can not drive it as it is MINE! It is a great get around the city and to work car. I have back problems and the seating is great for me to get in and out of.

The right choice - 2004 Scion xA
By SFScion - August 18 - 2:00 amJust love it since moment I drove off the dealership. Opted for the electric locking system which is a must, also the six-CD player. Hated to pay for the extra floor mats, come on... Otherwise, love my blue rocketship...

Jons Review - 2004 Scion xA
By SC Jon - November 18 - 10:00 amI am very pleased with my Scion xA. I have only experienced very minor problems (driver door adjustment). My only complaint is the air conditioner seems a little weak and is slow to cool down.

Im Sold - 2004 Scion xA
By kg13 - October 12 - 2:00 amIve had my Scion XA fora little over a week and love it. I traded in my Acura TL. that should tell you right there, I prefer the simple pleasure of the Scion over the luxury of my old Acura. I love the size, outside and in, the gas mileage it gets, as well as the overall standard features I got for the price. Dont waste your time looking for cars, Scion is all you need.

Great value - 2004 Scion xA
By JP - December 23 - 12:13 amIt has been three and a half years since we got our xA and we have been very pleased. We have had no problems with the car; havent had anything fixed yet. We still get >30mpg, even with city driving. The car is great for the city: easy to zip around and park in tight spaces. It still looks great outside and inside, although the audio controls are not very good. It is a capable vehicle for the highway, but you will feel when tractor trailers pass you. While it looks small it has a lot of room inside and is very flexible. You wouldnt believe the amount of stuff you can fit in.

Havent put gas in it yet - 2004 Scion xA
By BlueScion - October 29 - 2:00 amLoved the no pressure sale. This is the way all car purchases should be. At only 100hp I expected lousy performance, but with such low weight, it zips! 60-80mph on the freeway with no problems. Seudo Recarro seats sit nice front and back. It took about 30minutes to get used to those center guages. Now my other cars seem weird.

Im Sold - 2004 Scion xA
By REID - August 4 - 2:00 amI was shopping for a commuter car and was considering a Civic or Corrola and then I spotted an Xa. This interesting little car grabbed my attention immediately with its "love it" or "hate it" styling and I love it. Who would of thought you could build a reliable car with a certain cool factor for under $13,000. Well, I drove all 3 which had comparable drives but there was something that I admired about the Scion. Maybe it was how it stood out in a crowd of bland economy cars. Or perhaps, it was the build quality of a Toyota coupled with the 5 year 60k powertrain warranty (which will probably never be used)for the price of a Kia. Im sold.
