  • Love It, but Its Killin My Wallet. - 2005 Scion TC

I love this car! It has been nothing but good to me. I have had it since new for nearly two years now. I bought this puppy before it was cool to have a tC! It is a nice car, but it is a little low on power for a supposed "sports coupe." I would love to supercharge it, but Im not a millionaire. It gets pretty poor gas mileage. Ive never gotten the 22 mpg they say you can get. I average about 18.5 - 19.5 mpg around town (about 21 on the highway). This car also easily skids in the rain. I think that is more the tires than anything. But when its barely raining and youre going about 40 mph, you start hydroplaning. That is a problem. The xB has really good cornering ability as well. I just wish I had bought a stick!

Performance: Coming from a 5.0 mustang gives me a bit more perspective than some of the kids moving up from their Civic to this car. It isnt particularly fast, but it is quick, and handles well, is comfortable and the stereo system rocks Gearing/Tranny: I think they did a great job with matching the gearing to the engine. Even in 5th gear, you can pass on the highway, which makes highway driving much more tolerable. First is really short, but thats not a bad thing. Interior: This car is really comfortable and seems much bigger on the inside than it looks like it should from the outside. The seats are firm and supportive, and the driving controls are well placed.

  • Scion tC: Great New Car for Your Student - 2005 Scion TC

This car handles extremely well, especially around corners at speeds where most cars would be begin to shake. The tC is the best value out there. It has many options standard that most cars have as optional or not at all, including 4-wheel disc brakes, ABS, a panoramic sunroof with an additional moonroof, 17-inch alloy rims, reclinable rear seats, and a 6-speaker Panasonic Sound System. It is also VERY practical. The rear seats can be folded flat to provide enough room for several large TV sets, snowboard equipment for four, etc. The tC is fun to drive, built well, and looks good!

  • How is this so inexpensive? - 2005 Scion TC

This car is fun to drive, looks great, safe, affordable, what more could you ask for? The minute I saw it I fell in love and since driving it, I look forward to taking the wheel. I will probably DD more often now.

  • a bargain - 2005 Scion TC

all u need to know about the car can be found in the specs, its a car above your civics and sentras. u have a camry engine giving you 160hp and a load of standard features and hidden goodies that makes the car feel more luxurious. be warned of availability issues, it took me a complete month to get the car and not even the color i wanted. if u want the car, test drive and then put a deposit down (usually $500, make sure its refundable) and call up other dealers, this may help you get it faster .. the car is smooth and responsive, great pickup and a/c works well, MPG is decent, mp3 player is great and a ton of other little features

  • A MUST OWN VEHICLE!!! - 2005 Scion TC
    By -

This is an awesome car to own. Ive only had mine for a few days now but I simply love it. And to think I nearly made the mistake of buying a Nissan Sentra - thank goodness I came to my senses after seeing this car on the Toyota lot. Their no haggling over pricing was a joy to deal with. Thank you Toyota!!!

  • Best Value... Hands Down - 2005 Scion TC

Can you imagine a Camry in all its greatness with more features, more power, more style and an anorexic price tag? Turn it into a TRUE sports-coupe and you have the SCION tC. This is, without question, the highest fun-to- value ratio in the modern day of automotion. Drive all you want -- its a Toyota (excuse me, Scion), it will never break. Faster than a Solara and more leg room in the back seat, this vehicle is engineering at its best. The Scion tC is tit-mouse quiet but roars when provoked. Trade in what ever you drive now while it still has any value and do the smart thing; Flint Mica... stick shift -- You wont be sorry. Let all Toyotas children say Amen... and Amen!!

My experience with my tC has been awesome! I love driving it, its fun, easy to get into and out of. My daughter loves to drive it, stereo system is great. I am tall and it is very comfortable to drive around town and on long trips! Went 400 mi. on 1 tank of gas! God Bless it!

  • The Car for Me - 2005 Scion TC
    By -

Fun car to drive. Sporty, quick, perfect car for the everyday driver. Not too much, nor too little power. Front seats are comfortable, and hold you in place through the winding turns. Rear seats have much more leg room, very suprising. I have a few 6+ friends who enjoy riding in the back w/me. Interior is very stylish, with a radio cover panel that looks sweet, could use steering wheel controls though. Safety ratings show its a safe car... the side impact air bags would help, though expensive, worth the safety. All of the std and opt features available made this an easy choice for me. So, roll the windows down, open the sunroof, lay on the throttle, and enjoy the ride.
