My TC is just great. It rides good and handles like a sports car while getting great gas mileage. It is built better than most cars costing 10,000 more.

Great Car, Great Power, Lots of "options" that are included in the price. Well under $20k with everything youd want. Drives nice, good handling, cornering, stable, comfortable ride, good legroom (Im tall).

  • By far the best car by Scion - 2005 Scion TC

I bought this car when my 02 Honda Accord was wrecked beyond repair, I had to find a car around the same price range as the accords value. I liked the look of the tC from the outside but did not expect it to stand up to my accord, but it did. The personalization options are great and I love the original interior design and the awesome standard panoramic sunroof, blinking mirrors, and keyless entry programmed into the key definetly turn heads!!!

Ive had a black cherry scion for a month. Love the way it drives, great gas mileage. Ive had tons of compliments from those who have seen it and those Ive taken for a ride in it. Only complaint-tires arent rated the best.

The first car I was looking at was the Camry. When the dealer would not knock down the price, I looked at the Scion & noticed that it offered the same options with a price tag about $5000-6000 lower ($8000-9000 if you compare it to the GT-S). The Scion is a better deal in all areas. Personally, I like the no haggling sales approach (Ive never been one to play stuipid dealer sales games!). I love the way it handles, and also love the power it delivers from a 4 cylinder engine (my previous care was a 5 liter v-8). You can get very good gas milage driving it smoothly, or you can get not good milage driving it like a hot rod (Another nice option!). Overall, I recommend it highly!

I looked at a lot of cars in this price range before purchasing the Scion and this was the obvious choice. With its load of standard features, it is the best value on the road. After 14,000 miles, I have had zero problems and the car is solid.

  • Great Car, Except for the Gas Mileage - 2005 Scion TC

My family loved our Scion tC until my daughter totaled it. It has a simple elegant style. The engine was plenty strong. The standard features that came with it were great. When we compared it to similarly equipped Honda Civics, VWs, Mazda3s, Toyota Corrolas none of them impressed us like the tC. Our big complaint was poor gas mileage. We may buy something else now due to the gas mileage. If a 6-speed transmission was put in, that might solve the problem. It tached at 3,000rpm at 65 mph. There wouldnt be reason not to buy the tC if the gas mileage was fixed.

  • I absolutely loved and adored my tC but.... - 2005 Scion TC

Okay I bought my 2005 tC on May of 05 and I was way super ecstatic. I still was up until my engine blew. I was completely 110% satisfied with it and I still am, thats why I am considering getting another but before I do I really need some feedback on the engine. Im hoping what happened to my car was a fluke but any information would be great. What happened was the regulator valve or whatever it is that regulates the pressure of the engine apperantly went out. This caused too much pressure in the engine and blew off my oil filter (while driving) and naturally the oil came out while driving. I havent read anything about this happening but any help would be great.

  • Great car for the money - 2005 Scion TC

I purchased the vehicle used in Jan 07 with just 30K miles. I have been pleasantly surprised with the performance, handling, and comfort of the tC. I dont get great gas mileage, but I drive it pretty hard. The only ongoing problem I have is with the sunroof - it whistles on the highway and continues to jam up when I close it, needing my assistance to get beyond a certain point. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.
