  • tC after two years - 2005 Scion TC

The only complaint I have is that it rattles, and Toyota has not fixed the rattle. Intermittent, of course, sounds like the hatchback or the sun roof. I love this car. I love the way it reponds at 60 to 70 mph, I love to put it through hard corners, I love the manual transmission. People over 6 foot 3 have a hard time with the head room, but it fits me fine. I look forward to driving it.

this vehicle restores that "oh what a feeling" feeling.

  • Great Car for the Money - 2005 Scion TC

I bought my Scion tC for my long commute. It is fun to drive and gets decent gas mileage. You can also buy Toyota TRD upgrades that can add some more vroom without voiding your warranty. I like it!

  • A Fun Car - 2005 Scion TC

I am over 70 and have ownwd cars three times the price of my tC. However, I have never been as fond of an automobile as I am of this one. It handles as if I am part of the road and I find the seats most comfortable and with more than ample room. My tC has features that are not present in my wifes full-size sedan. The radio and sound system are quite satisfactory and the controls are attractive as well as well-placed. While simple in design, I find the exterior lines attractive. I am a large person, yet find more than ample leg and head room. While certainly not a "family" car, I would certainly recommend the Scion tC to anyone looking for a fun second car.

  • Moms and Tall Adults - 2005 Scion TC

Im a tall mom, 510, and love my car! It has a great look, my two kids love to pick their friends up in it! It also is a comfortable car. Its easy to drive around the city. I have never had a problem with it! I can grocery shop in it also! :-) Its gas mileage is great, my avg. is 10 days before filling up. Toyota has done its job keeping moms young and alive. :-) This car is definitely a keeper, a hand-me-down for a teenager. Try one, buy one, and have fun!

  • Looks like it cost twice as much! - 2005 Scion TC

This is one heck of a deal for a small sporty car. There is nothing else out there that feels this solid, comes with 17" rims and a sunroof and looks this good.

  • Sweetness for the Cake - 2005 Scion TC

The Scion tC is a pretty fast for a 4 banger. It gets up quick. It provides lots of fun for the money, but it needs better sound system and a better seat belt system for driver. The drivers belt digs into my neck. Other than that the car kicks butt.

  • Beats the compition in every way! - 2005 Scion TC

I bought this car because my 03 Civic was totalled. When I compared the 05 civics and the TC, it was obvious which car won in every category. I have not been let down at all since purchasing the TC. It handles like a DREAM. It instills so much confidence in high-speed cornering, thanks to 17in wheels and grippy potenzas. The more I look at the styling, the hotter the car gets. Yeah, the radio cover is retarded, and the flimsy shades are cheap, but DANG! This car rocks!

  • Home Run - 2005 Scion TC

Did extensive shopping in & out of this class of vehicle and found nothing to compare to the balance of performance, comfort, amenities, quality, detail and, of course, price! As long as you are not expecting a Prius (mileage) or Porche (performance) you cant beat this car for having all of the right stuff. Reasonable compromises (performance vs. practicality) make it a competant and comfortable weekday commuter and lots of fun on the weekend.

I was looking for a reliable fun-to-drive car that didnt cost a ton. My options were down to the civic and the eclipse. When researching these on Edmunds, I learnt about the tC and instantly fell in love. After checking it out, I bought it and I have to say ITS AWESOME!!!. Toyota reliability, 160hp engine, looks cool and comes with almost all the bells and whistles. Plus the no-haggle pricing experience is much better than the traditional dealership approach.
