This Year's Model Updates:

Revised interior and exterior trim details freshen up the interior of Saturn's SUV. Four-cylinder models get new machined alloy wheels in place of last year's painted alloys, along with new seat fabric, and a four-speed automatic transmission in place of the former CVT unit. All-wheel drive is no longer available on four-cylinder Vues.

Pros:
  • Strong V6, spacious cabin, comfortable ride, excellent crash test scores, good fuel economy.
Cons:
  • Too many low-grade and ill-fitting interior materials, undersized front seats, vague steering.

  • Great Car to Drive - 2005 Saturn VUE

I love my Vue, however I do notice that when going over a bump in the road the car seems to have a like sound like things are rattling. It handles the road like a pro. Great on gas.

If you want a fast SUV with all the feel and performance of a sports car then you will just love the Saturn VUE Redline. We have the Black V6. I test drove the 4 banger. Dont settle for it. The 250 hp Honda motor is wild, but the AWD keeps it on the road nicely. Do yourself a favor. Buy a VUE, and look hard as you blow past the gas hog lunch box SUVs out there.

  • Great Vue from here - 2005 Saturn VUE

V6 FWD, with awesome acceleration, and a smooth, comfortable ride. It zips down the turnpike at 85 in total silence. Gets good fuel economy for 250hp. Its probably the best value in its class. I vowed not to own another American car until i drove this. Go test drive one.

In looking for a small, economical SUV for less money, I found the Saturn VUE for less than I thought I would have to pay. Better economy than expected, better ride than others I drove. I love the dash board, the reclining rear seats, the large outside mirrors, and the large window area. Averaging over 26mpg in everyday driving, 30mpg for hiway trips. Has room for all our junk and four people. Love the fact that I can park it anywhere without worring about dings. My Saturn has the 5-speed trans and this improves on its performance, plus the clutch has a light touch, not tiring. Its not the perfect vehicle, but its perfect for what I need this vehicle to do.

  • My VUE - 2005 Saturn VUE

I am definitely having a great time driving this car and Im looking forward to long trips. The VUE is my 3rd Saturn car. Ive driven a compact and sedan, and now an SUV. The transition was smooth, driving adjustment was minor, and I felt confident and safe in driving a bigger car. Gas mileage is pretty good. Theres very good visbility, rear and side, with no view obstructions. Brake response is reliable.

  • The best SUV in the segment, hands down - 2005 Saturn VUE

The Vue V6, in RedLine (mine) or standard dress, is the fastest, safest and most fuel efficient SUV (without going hybrid) in the <$30k market today. RedLine looks cool, has huge 18" rims and tires, handles on rails, and puts almost every other SUV to shame in performance, except maybe the Porsche Cayenne. $50k Sequoias cant keep up and get 1/2 of the gas mileage. I have an 05 BMW, the Vue Redline, and motorcycles. I enjoy the Vue the most.

  • Great Value! - 2005 Saturn VUE

The Saturn sales process is quite painless. I enjoyed the experience. My new Vue fits my urban neighborhood, and allows us to take our dogs, friends and gear to the mountains, beach, etc. Granted, well never be Off-Road Enthusiasts, but we can get away far enough for our needs. Driveability is excellent with (in my opinion) the best acceleration in its class. I test drove many comparable SUVs, and felt the Vue best suited me.

  • 05 V-6 VUE is Great Little SUV - 2005 Saturn VUE
    By -

Ive owned my 05 V-6 VUE for about one month. I traded in a Trailblazer for the VUE and it is my first Saturn. Im especially impressed by the peppy engine and the manueverability of the VUE. It steers and parks like a car but offers the utility of an SUV. Ingress/egress for elderly or physically impaired people is far easier that a car or a large SUV. The price for the VUE was $1,000 less than most similarly equipped (although larger) SUVs, such as the Nissan Murano.

  • Excellent car - 2005 Saturn VUE

We drive to AZ twice a year which takes 8 hrs. The car gets excellent gas mileage and is very comfortable with the heated seats. When we take passengers, the back seat is extremely comfortable. We love this car and I am very sorry that it is out of business. The Vue is a pleasure to ride and drive all of the time.
