This Year's Model Updates:

For 2007, the Saab 9-3's interior gets a redesign, with a restyled instrument panel and updated trim and chrome details. OnStar has been added to the options list, as have a couple of new wheel designs. Satellite radio is now standard on Aero models and optional on the 2.0T, and a Bose sound system is now available on all 9-3 sedans.

Pros:
  • Handles well for a front-drive car, frugal yet powerful engines, generous passenger room, class-leading trunk space in sedan models, excellent crash test scores.
Cons:
  • Suspension should be stiffer on Aero models, ride can be choppy over bumps, interiors lack upscale look and feel, turbo lag on V6 models.

  • Very Pleased. I love this car - 2007 Saab 9-3

Purchased this vehicle over a month ago. I had already done my homework and found the Saab Sportcombi was a great all around vehicle, and found one for less than a used 2007 Altima with standard features. Vehicle can be driven fast and fun, or more conservative, or like myself in something in between. With an automatic, I get 32 MPG on the highway, 26-27 in mixed driving, and 23 city that is great for a car that gives a nice ride, luxury appointments, and room to spare. One of my consideration was room for four, including 2 kids, 9 and 16. We all ride comfortably, I do have to give up a little legroom, as I am 6-2" but still find it comfortable.

  • Fun to Drive, Yet Sophisticated - 2007 Saab 9-3

I have a 2.0T 60th Anniversary with an auto trans. The auto has some turbo lag off the line, but the "passing gear" is great. Overall the car looks great and is fun to drive. At 64" I have just enough head room, but could use a little more. The Bose audio system sounds good, but the head unit controls are a little confusing to get used to.

I purchased the 60th Anniversary edition which I preferred for its "fancy trim" package. I find the car to suit me well as it is small, yet seats four fairly comfortably, quick on its feet yet provides a nice MPG and its stylish without being pretentious.
