Overview & Reviews
For 2009, the Porsche 911 gets some significant updates, including refreshed front and rear fascia, new direct-injection engines, bigger brakes and a new touchscreen interface in the center stack. New options include an automated manual gearbox that replaces the Tiptronic automatic transmission, ventilated seats, Bluetooth, satellite radio and an audio connection package that includes a dedicated iPod adapter, auxiliary jack and USB port.
- Multiple models to choose from, precision steering, effortless acceleration, powerful brakes, refined all-wheel-drive option, comfortable and spacious cockpit, highly customizable.
- Options prices can really add up, unintuitive PDK shift buttons.

Awesome - 2009 Porsche 911
By Earfool - March 11 - 2:56 pmThis is an amazing car. I have never enjoyed drive a vehicle as much as my 911. The acceleration is as sophisticated as one would expect from a Porsche. Its only a beast when you want it to be.

Silky smooth! - 2009 Porsche 911
By aferrell - June 16 - 4:40 pmTraded in 07 Boxster S, loved that car but the Carrera coupe offers more room for driver and passenger. My last 911 was a 70 E, and this new one is totally different. Great driver, handling is awesome.

A 911 is the ultimate for purists - 2009 Porsche 911
By roger Bassetti - February 25 - 9:26 amThe 911 continues to represent an exhilarating experience for a sports car purist. The driver comfort issue becomes a moot issue when the driver gets behind the wheel. I find excuses to drive the 911 because of its unrivaled performance and "fun to drive" quotient. This is not a car which is designed to put you asleep. Rather, it is a car which responds to your every wish and performs as if it is an extension of your own psyche. Ferry Porsche had it right; build the 911 based upon racing performance.
