Just what I needed. - 2005 Pontiac Vibe
By Timothy R. - February 15 - 1:33 amThis car is perfect for the situation I faced in 2005. I got transferred to a new job 120 miles (round trip) from home. I knew my GMC pickup truck would not be affordable to drive that distance. So, I decided to buy the Vibe. It was just what I needed. I dont get the optimum gas mileage because I carpool with two other people. This extra weight does cut my mpg down to 27-28 mpg. Everyone who rides in the Vibe likes the ride. I plan to drive this vehicle until it gets too expensive to buy replacement parts. I think I am in a majority, I see more and more people driving Vibes every day.

Versatile, Economical, Fun! - 2005 Pontiac Vibe
By Mike - February 1 - 9:36 pmThis is the first vehicle Ive owned that I like even more now than the day I bought it. Great gas mileage, fun to drive and plenty of cargo space. I have not experienced any problems or concerns with this car, and it has a very solid, well-built feel. I am very satisified with my Vibe and highly recommend it to others!

Very good value for the money - 2005 Pontiac Vibe
By deyeo - January 15 - 10:00 amPeople like the design (including me). The instrumentation is well thought-out: easy to read and reach. The gas mileage is consistent and excellent. The use of space seems efficient. The interior is well planned and I can load a lot into it-- cargo as well as passengers (who are comfortable, they say). Handling is succinct and reliable. I travel a lot and can comfortably take everying I need for camping, cycling and any other activity I want to do.

My little suv - 2005 Pontiac Vibe
By Lori - December 29 - 10:26 pmI was looking for a suv type vehicle, and saw a vib on the pontiac dealership lot by accident. I loved the looks of it, and when I found out it was made with Toyota i bought it. I love this little car. It sits upright, plenty of room, and very little wind noise. I recently drove it from Arkansas to Birmingham, Alabama, and got around 34 to 35 mpg runny at 60 to 70 mph. I never had any problems passing by just using common sense. I was very pleased with everything about it. The one thing that I did notice that bothered me at first, was the first time I turned on the AC around town. I noticed the pull of it on the motor, but after I got used to it it was no big deal. Paid $16,400

My Swiss Army Car - 2005 Pontiac Vibe
By banjoflyer - December 8 - 2:00 amWe call our Vibe a Swiss Army Car. It hauls big things, is fun to drive, parks easily, and is comfortable for four (five if #5 is smallish). I love the tie-downs in the back. I will be buying another one when Im ready but I still love this one. One thing, mine came without antilock brakes. I assume that they are all equipped with what I believe to be as much a necessity as seat belts now.

Love this car - 2005 Pontiac Vibe
By Vibe Fan - December 5 - 5:00 pmI love love love this car. This is by far the best auto purchase I have ever made. My husband and I both have one and love it. It is very reliable and nice on the pocket book. It is a little small if you have small kids with lots of stuff.

I just love my vibe - 2005 Pontiac Vibe
By Greg Halford - November 20 - 7:16 amI am a private "eye" and I travel over a large portion of the Midwest. Since buying this car I have been continually surprised at the pep it has and the fuel economy. It just glides down the road like the other " Big Guys ". I have been impressed with its comfort, roadability, and its handling. Im a big guy and I fit in it like a glove. My only "gripe" would be the fact that there is a lot of plastic in the interior and it makes it more noisy than I would like. Other than that Im a really happy camper when it comes to the VIBE. !!!!

Hope it gets better with age - 2005 Pontiac Vibe
By Bruce - November 19 - 2:40 pmWe bought a new car so that we would have a trouble-free auto to drive. In retrospect, we might have been wrong. The car has been back to the dealer at least 4 times (you lose count after a while) to repair the check engine light situation. Fortunately it has been under warranty thus far. Needless to say, it takes time and effort every time we take it in, and this is exactly what we wanted to avoid when purchasing a new vehicle. We wanted to buy an American-made car (at least, buy from an American company), but probably not next time.

Fun, Practical & Economical Car!! - 2005 Pontiac Vibe
By Carol T - November 7 - 1:26 pmThe car is not only economical, it is very practical and roomy. The back seat has more leg room than any other small car we looked at. We can comfortably fit 4 adults in the car with room to spare. It is also great for grocery shopping, taking the dogs to the vet, etc. It has good pep and the ride is nice! I would highly recommend the car, especially for the price!
