  Drives and survives (Not AWD, base automatic trans) - 2004 Pontiac Vibe

  As a delivery driver for a certain "freaky fast" sandwich shop, this car is perfect. Tons of room in the back with the seats down, oodles of gas mileage, its an all around great car for my job. Now, Im 20, so naturally Im gonna drive this car pretty hard. The car does kind of slug through first gear, but after that it takes off like a rocket. I often forget its just a little 1.8L. Ive had no major repairs at 104k, bought at 90k. Only really "major" things Ive HAD to do are transmission fluid/filter. Other than that, this cars a little champ. Has a nice engine noise for being a 4cyl, nice torque, good suspension and cornering. Definitely a head turner when folks see its just a Vibe.

  We bought the Vibe as a company car. We needed a reliable vehicle with great gas mileage and lots of room to haul stuff. Its been great. When we got 39 mpg on the road last month driving between jobs we were thrilled down to the wallet. Its been a great car.

  I loved my new Vibe! Great gas mileage, fun to drive, and a very versatile vehicle. Spacious interior. It would have been great for camping and biking this year. I walked away from a 40 mph front end collision with nothing more than a sore ankle (probably from jamming the breaks) and a slightly stiff neck the next day. Unfortunately, the battery leaked during the collision and the insurance adjustor totaled it out. On to find another Vibe... This car was great!

  This is a great car. I keep finding things that I love about it. Moonroof, hidden power supply, 115-volt outlet. The elevated seats make visibility great, and there is lots of room for backseat passengers. Though one must make frequent trips for gasoline due to the 12 gallon tank, it is a dream to drive, and makes you look forward to your next trip. Very comfortable and versatile with tons of room for everything youll take with you (including roof rack if you cant fit everything inside!).

  I generally dont like smaller vehicles and have owned larger trucks and SUVs for years. Decided I dont need all that room and gas going out the tailpipe, so looked into smaller SUVs. Many are so-so on gas mileage, so started researching these "crossover" vehicles and discovered the Vibe. Went right out, test drove it, loved it and bought one on the spot!!

  This car makes running errands fun! Just bought it and the next day took a 400 mile trip. Great on gas, handled well.

  Just got the last 2004 off the local lot and am very impressed based on the first 1000 miles. Great looks, good handling, lots of room, nice options packages, and great gas mileage (avg 33 ist. A true bargain with incentives on the remaining 2004s if you can still find them.

  I purchased the car second hand, and Ive only had it for a few months so far. Ive only had to replace a sensor for the heater (inexpensive). It drives well, great gas mileage and it is fun to drive. It seems like a very reliable car.

  I love this car. It was love at first sight. I did not even drive it before I signed the papers. I drove a plain silver one but had to have the orange one.

  I HAVE 11,000 MILES OF ENJOYABLE NO PROBLEM MILES. THE GAS MILEAGE IS GREAT AND COMFORT IS EXCELENT. HORSEPOWER IS O.K. MORE HORSEPOWER LESS MILEAGE. ILL TAKE LESS HORSEPOWER. I LOVE THE AGGRESIVE STYLING. LOVE THE CAR.
