Fun, economical ride - 2004 Pontiac Vibe
By John L - January 12 - 3:06 pmA fun car to drive, very good gas mileage, 30 mpg in combination city/highway driving. 55,000 miles with no problems only routine maintenance. Interior is comfortable, lots of small storage compartments. One of which suffered a broken latch the first week and has remained broken- lots of plastic. A lot of interior storage space for carrying things, also the roof rack is handy.

Manual Vibe - 2004 Pontiac Vibe
By simon mcinnes - January 2 - 4:00 pmI have the 4 speed manual. I used to have a Durango, but always rented manual when in Europe and enjoyed them so much that I was happy to ditch the Durango for the Vibe. Plus, the fuel economy is excellent, especially the way I drive often in neutral to coast into stops and lights, or on downhills. I also appreciate all the bells and whistles it has (sun roof, cargo straps, roof rack, etc).

Fantastic car - 2004 Pontiac Vibe
By mbkano - December 24 - 2:00 amI have never been a big fan of 4 cylinder cars but the Vibe has a nice smooth ride. It also has good pick up. I especially like the good gas mileage. Its very comfortable on long trips. The Vibe has so much cargo space and yet its a small car. I would recommend it to anyone.

Nice! - 2004 Pontiac Vibe
By Snark - December 19 - 10:00 amAn excellent little car for very little money. Lots of room for people and cargo, stylish, comfortable, and fun to drive. Those who gripe about its snow performance are themselves to blame for not sticking on a decent pair of snow tires. Colorado winters are no problem with the right tires. Thoughtful interior, great gas mileage. If you dont care for pretentious luxury but want a very nice car, this is a great pick. Yay for Toyota reliability.

Vibe is great - 2004 Pontiac Vibe
By Brock Bell - December 8 - 9:00 pmI knew I wanted a Toyota, but didnt like the style of the Matrix. The car has style, comfort, ease of use, dependability, and great gas mileage. I have averaged 27 mpg with mostly city driving on 89 octane 10 pct ethanol unleaded fuel and 31-33 on highway trips over 300 miles. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone and to purchase without the XM satellite radio option would be foolish. I certainly hope that Pontiac considers keeping this vehicle in their arsenal as well as keeping up the great work on this vehicle with Toyota. I look forward to, and hope, that the planned Toyota redesign of this car (in 2007) continues through to the Pontiac as well. Good luck with you VIBE.

KIMS NEW TOY - 2004 Pontiac Vibe
By KBARNO - October 31 - 10:00 amWE JUST BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE ABOUT TEN DAYS AGO. SO FAR WE LIKE IT. THE ONLY THING I DONT LIKE IS THE TRUNK, IT HAD NO CARPETING , SO EVERYTHING SLIDES AROUND ALL OVER THE PLACE. WE QUICKLY REMEMDIED THAT BY PUTTIN CARPETING IN THE BACK. ITS A GOOD IDEA FOR PEOPLE WHO HAUL STUFF, BUT I THINK IT SHOULD COME WITH THE CARPET. BUT, BE REMOVABLE. THE ONLY OTHER THING, IS THAT I SUGGEST YOU DONT TAKE IT TO A CAR WASH WITH THE BLOW DRYERS. IT BLEW THE TRIM PIECE TO MY ROOF RACK RIGHT OFF THE CAR. OTHER THAN THAT i THINK ITS A GREAT CAR.

Great gas mileage - 2004 Pontiac Vibe
By Noahs Ark - October 18 - 9:23 amI have had this car for almost 4 years now. We bought it before we had children, and two children and two dogs later, we have almost outgrown this car. It handles well and has held up well being rear-ended once (no scratches even!) Gas mileage is wonderful. The sound system is great. The drivers area adjusts well between my husband and me without a lot of moving things around. Its a little slow in the acceleration, but manageable. Overall, not a bad car, but a little small for family trips.

Pontiac Vibe - Great little car - 2004 Pontiac Vibe
By markwiz - October 5 - 4:16 pmBasically it is a Toyota Matrix which is really a Carolla Wagon. Greate car. Holds lots of stuff. Looks great with a surfboard on the roof rack. More standard features than the Matrix. The only negative is the rattle around the radio and highway wind noise. I have 36,000 mi. The only repair was the front end alignment when I first bought it.
