A host of new features come on board for the 2007 Pontiac Torrent. The SUV now has four-wheel disc brakes (an upgrade over last year's rear drums), a tire-pressure monitor and a stability control system as standard equipment. On the options list, one will now find a driver information system with a trip computer, a navigation system, revamped audio systems with MP3 player input jacks, a rear-seat entertainment system and a remote vehicle-starting system.
- Plenty of interior room, fore/aft-adjustable rear seats, high crash test scores.
- Limited choice in drivetrains, slow steering response, seats lack lateral support.

Hunk O Junk - 2007 Pontiac Torrent
By Mike - December 19 - 8:20 pmMost unreliable vehicle I have ever seen! I have a rent-a-car for the 5th time in less than 2 months....all for the same problem. Talk about incompetent. The stabil-a-trac light comes on and I lose power almost causing accidents every time. I almost got rear-ended yesterday. Please do your homework beofre buying this vehicle. I think the mechanics that are working on it are borrowed from Toyota if you know what I mean. Thank God I leased this junk piece.

Disgusted! - 2007 Pontiac Torrent
By C. Greer - February 1 - 2:13 pmThis is the second brand new vehicle I have leased, I got out of an 05 Canyon thinking the Torrent would be better for the family, Boy was I WRONG!! I am absolutely disgusted with the Torrent, the fuel mileage isnt at all what I expected, the Stabilitrak has caused nothing but issues, there is a rumble up the centre of the vehicle everytime the roads are just wet. Not to mention the lack of control in the snow, I will never buy another vehicle with AWD again, nor will I deal with GM ever again! Their customer service and assistance have proved to be useless!

By jcc - August 20 - 7:06 pmI have owned gm cars for over 40 years this is a piece of #### water leaks when it rains hard, dealer unable to find leak, unable to remove key from ignition at any given time, wind leaks it has very cheap interior, drive train is solid however this not an America made vehicle no parts made in USA zero

Not a great Vechile - 2007 Pontiac Torrent
By Frank Weir - April 17 - 12:23 pmBought it used last year. First rain storm found out how poor it handles in the rain. Traction control is scary when it comes on. It came with four good snow tires but is total useless in the snow. When on ling trip this summer and had reasonable trip except when it rained. Found that the spare tire compartment fills with water when it rains. Lost right side from stereo and the turn signal has no sound. First and last GM product.
