Overview & Reviews
The Grand Prix underwent a redesign for 2004, but those familiar with the big sedan will find its blend of performance and comfort hasn't changed much.
- Strong supercharged V6, nimble handling, attractive gauges, easy-to-use controls, big trunk, fold-flat front-passenger seat.
- Build and materials quality still needs work, tight backseat, noisy engine, not enough storage or cupholders, no auto climate control.

2004 Pontiac Grand Prix - 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix
By mschmehl - March 13 - 10:00 amI have owned my Grand Prix GT1 for about 1 year and I have been very pleased with its performance and comfort. For the cost and value of what I received in my Grand Prix, you could not find a better mid-sized sedan. One complaint I do have is that it does not come with map lights on the GT1 model as standard. Never realized how important a little thing like that can be. Otherwise, I look forward to gettng another one soon.

yeah! for Pontiac - 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix
By IBEX - March 13 - 10:00 amFinally an answer to all the boring Grand Am and Grand Priz models. I bought the 2004 Pontiac GTP model with the comp G package. I have never been so pleased with a GM vehicle. This car is fast and it gets good gas mileage. Ive driven it in Alaska during the winter (handled the icy roads no problem). Ive even driven it through the Colorado Rockies (can you say fun). Next stop Hwy 1 in California

Grand Prix GTP - 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix
By Frank & Denise - February 4 - 10:00 amThe Grand Prixs style, performance, options, and comfort are excellent. Its my second Pontiac vehicle and I never had a problem mechanically with them. Only problem is storage area in the front of the car, but its worth it.

3 Day Review - 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix
By forgop - February 4 - 10:00 amJust leased a Grand Prix 3 days ago. Nice car for the money, at least with the rebates and GMS pricing that was available to me. Had it not been for being so upside down on my trade, I could have done a 2 year lease with 15k miles/year for just $200($24k MSRP). Definitely has the Pontiac ride, having leased a 99 Grand Am as well. I think the 3800 engine is perhaps one of the best out there in the midsize market. Very well equipped car for a base package. Roomy interior with lots of trunk space.

Silver GTP - 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix
By Richm4 - January 21 - 10:00 amAfter considering the ES300, Accord and CTS, I bought the GTP minus Comp-G. Great exterior styling, power an handling, BUT it is a bit rough riding for my tastes. Nice leather seats and the interior materials are an improvement over the prior generation Grand Prix which I had owned.

Best Pontiac Yet! - 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix
By Bowen - January 4 - 2:00 amIm sure this review is a bit premature since Ive only had my GP GT1 for about 2 days now but I love this car! It drives great, has plenty of power (although Id still love about 20 more horses) and its very comfortable. This is coming from someone that had a 2000 Grand AM, which is a great car in its on right. There was little difference between my GT1 and the GT2 because of the options that were put on my car which nearly makes it a GT2. My GT1 has the Drivers Package add $755 and the Antilock brakes packageÂ…add $600. Total vehicle price (before taxes and goodies) was $23,750.00 On a scale of 1 to 10, Id rate the 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT1 an 8.
