The Pontiac G6 sees a host of changes for the 2006 model year. Starting things off are two new body styles: a two-door coupe and a hardtop convertible. The coupe will be available at the beginning of the model year, while the convertible hits dealer showrooms early in the 2006 calendar year. There are also new trim levels. A four-cylinder base sedan caters to those shoppers on a tighter budget, while a GTP trim increases the G6's performance threshold via the addition of a new 240-hp V6, stability control and an available six-speed manual transmission.

  I have this car for about a month now and I really do like it. It looks great and is very quite and is alot of fun to drive.The 3.5 engine gives you more horsepower the you will need in any situation. There are several what I consider minor flaws, one of which is the ride. The sports suspension handles great and is very responsive but gives a hard ride. When you go over a bump you will feel it and I havent gotten the 21mpg City or 29mpg Highway the sticker claims you get yet. Check out suggestion improvements for more.

  I was actually in the market for an Accura TL, but the G6 caught my eye. The first day after I drove my G6 off the lot I was pulled over by a police officer who wanted to know about it because he was thinking about purchasing one. Great acceleration, a lot of power. Nice interior and very spacious. Great sound system, and fun to drive. I was very surprised by GM to make a car of this quality for the price.

  ive had my g6 for awhile. besides everyhitng being excellent on the vehicle somthings ive had went wrong one was the right piller molding buckeled i forget to see til i brought it home! also, volume button on steering works from time to time these are minor things though one major thing was recently had to proform right end alignment because, vehicle was pulling to the right i had 4,062 miles dealer tightened steering and problem seems to subside i realize that it is front wheel drive and must be more careful for bumps and pothole besides this car is awesome love the panoramic roof, performance and clutchless transmission a huge plus++++ i would reccommend buy!!

  Rides and handles like a sport car. Pleased with the aerodynamics with top down. You can carry on conversation with passenger at high speeds with out yelling.

  I bought my G6 for my birthday last year and i absolutely love it! I get better gas mileage than any of my friends or coworkers. It has great structure to the rear end, I backed into a truck and there was no damages! No regrets!

  GM nailed this one!! Look at the styling of the car, especailly from the rear, and it is as good or better than the Lexus or Porche. Hardtop convertible? Nothing touches it for the money. Quality? WOW! Innovation? Watch how the hardtop convertible works - then you will know. Forget about all you preconceived ideas if you dont think much of Pontiac. I did - and I am soooooo glad. I found out that I dont have to spend 60 to 80 K to get what I really want. I see the light! Thanks Pontiac!

  We just bought the G6 at the end of June, but have taken several long trips so far. It is a very comfortable, smooth, quiet ride and gets good gas mileage. We are very pleased with it so far and have absolutely no complaints.

  This is a great Car, Styling is Great. I had looked at the 4dr sedan but didnt buy, and waited for the 2dr coupe to come out, and im glad i did.

  I selected this vehicle because it is like no other. Just about everyone drives a Mustang, if they want a sports coupe but I like to be different and this is just what this car offers. Combine this with more space for th driver and passengers and there is no comparison. Great Car fun to drive and well worth the investment.

  I have had my G6 GT for 2 and half years. I still love to drive the vehicle. I have around 67,000 miles allot of highway miles. To this point vehicle has been great and fun to drive. With only 201hp, this vehicle does have get up and go. The problem were the rotors, I guess Pontiac used cheap metal.
