olds02silhouette - 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette
By lukewilder - February 17 - 10:00 amThe Olds Silhouette far exceeded my expectations. The interior is comfortable, roomy and versatile. I took 6 persons and luggage for a 2000 mile trip. The vehicle has been completely reliable thus far. The oil monitor has saved me money. The Olds is as fast as any sedan Ive driven and is still quite at 100 MPH (shh... dont tell mom).

Fantastic Van - 2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette
By Priano Family - February 13 - 12:10 pmI sell new Chevrolets, but am on a used vehicle budget, so when it was time to get a vehicle, after having driven a new Chevy Uplander for the summer, I decided an Oldsmobile Silhouette was the perfect vehicle to go with. Its comfort features like memory seats and dual-zone front A/C coupled with 16" chrome wheels, fog lights (hey, a minivan CAN look cool), heated leather seats, DVD w/wireless headphones, 6-disc CD changer make the Silhouette Premiere a fantastic choice. I wanted another SUV, but you just cant beat the fuel mileage, passenger/cargo space (room for 7 including a lot of cargo room), amazing ride comfort and carlike handling. Overall this is a very impressive van!

better than ford, plymouth, dodge - 1999 Oldsmobile Silhouette
By Denny_J - February 3 - 10:00 amWhat can I say..my Olds has outperformed all other minivans easily. I have owned a windstar, grand caravan and grand voyager for my company vehicles, and none of them handle, ride or are as comfortable for the passengers as my Olds Silhouette Premiere. Gas mileage is great, and the interior is very quiet on the highway. Ive never had it in the shop other than for new tires, new brakes and oil changes. so regular maintenace pretty much. I would highly reccomend this van to anyone looking for a roomie van set apart from the rest. Denny

Best GM vehicle yet - 1999 Oldsmobile Silhouette
By Bendo - January 11 - 10:00 amI have made two long trips with this vehicle, one to the west coast and all the National Parks while getting 25 miles per gallon going 70-75, great performance. It is so quiet I can hardly tell its running. I only had one incident ( problem) and that was with the transmission where the computer needed adjusting. It was the most comfortable van Ive even ridden in after trying out every style and make. It is the only one where I could drive for 100 miles or more at one time and not get a back ache or leg cramps, and at my age it really means alot.

Wife loves it! - 2000 Oldsmobile Silhouette
By rgolf1960 - January 10 - 1:30 amBought second hand last year with 100k miles. Was in excellent condition and well taken care of. Had zero problems so far, and wife is completely satisfied. Previously we owned a 96 Ford Windstar, and this van is far superior. Got a great deal ($5,700) and hope it will last a couple more years.

Great overall experience - 1999 Oldsmobile Silhouette
By amc731 - December 24 - 2:00 amWe leased this van for 5 years and have 6 months left to make a decision on whether to keep it or move on to something new. We only have 41,000 miles on it and it still looks and runs like new. In our opinion, it looks better than most other (even newer) vans out there.

Do Not Buy - 2001 Oldsmobile Silhouette
By kendra james - December 5 - 2:00 amThis is my first and last experience with an Oldsmobile. The check engine light comes on more than the headlights. As for comfort, interior design, etc. I wouldnt know...I spend more time in a rental than in the van. All in all.. I am not impressed in the least.. I am an American and proud of it but trust me...buy Japan...

Not too Promising - 2001 Oldsmobile Silhouette
By A6SILO - November 27 - 6:33 pmSince purchasing our 2001 Silhouette Premier in Jan. 06 we have encountered a leaking windshield, a broken drivers side heated seat, a broken drivers side power mirror, and the smell of anti-freeze leaking from the right side engine area. We love all the power options but are very disappointed at the level of quality from a top of the line vehicle.

Iowa Farm Van - 1999 Oldsmobile Silhouette
By J SAYERS - November 18 - 10:00 amWe are looking to trade our 1999 Silhouette only because it has such high miles (96,000) - but want to trade it for a new Silhouette. This van has been dependable and economical. The only major repairs were the CD player a couple years ago ($500 to fix) and just this month the automtic traction control board (a $900 repair bill). We live in the country so this van spends a lot of time going to town and back. Also my wife travles 40 miles to work and back each day. The rear CD/headset controls have helped us keep peace with the kids on long trips. I am only sorry that when our new Silouette wears out, they wont be making them anymore :(.
