By joeinseattle - September 8 - 10:00 amBought car at 15000: now have 41000. car is much better than Olds dealers. Had dealer network been more customer oriented GM might still be making Olds.

I love my Intrigue - 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue
By Abner - August 31 - 10:00 amI absolutely love my Intrigue!!! It runs great, looks great, and is even more fun to drive. The gas mileage could be better, but the pros of this car far outway the cons.

new car smell still - 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue
By jaystl420 - August 10 - 2:40 pmmy car has 153xxx miles and still has the new car smell still !!.i I love this car had one owner and runs, drives, looks, and rides new still. And at $1,800 I got a steal never been smoked in and all highway miles.Only problems are back windows wont go down all the way(window regular $45 apiece)and get stuck and check engine light on code 0410 needs new secondare air pump. This car runs and handles like a box style z28 camaro, rides like a european car, quality of a honda or toyota, looks of a sports car, and interior hints of a caddy and lexus. This car was made to fight imports and olds was low on sales, and so they made this car to help turn around olds.So it was built to last.

Great family sports car - 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue
By James.P - July 16 - 3:40 amI have kids. I had to get something that would compete with my pre-Camaro owning days. I bought an intrigue. This car was just as sporty, handled just as well, and had plenty of power to boot. It is a great car for the guy who has to grow up!

Fantastic Car - 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue
By MBarthol - July 7 - 9:40 amI cant begin to tell you how great this car is. My father bought it new back in 2000 and gave it to me in 2007 with 172,000 miles on it when he bought a new car. Since then, Ive put 25,000 miles on it and enjoyed each and every one. Its a great car that has lasted to 197,000 miles so far, and our mechanic says it could go another 100,000 with the shape the engine is in. The engine has never had any work done to it either! Unfortunately, he only expects the transmission to last another 20,000, but I think its pretty great to get 220,000 miles out of a transmission.

Wish I didnt have to say goodbye - 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue
By Erin - June 18 - 6:56 pmAfter 8 years with my Intrigue, I am sad to say goodbye to it, but must due to the increasing repairs I have to make to it. At 40,000 miles, I had sensor issues. At 60,000 miles, I had all hub bearings go out. Now at 130,000 miles I have had alternator, a/c and more sensor issues, a broken fuel gauge, engine mounts replaced, and now a coolant leak that will cost $1000 to fix simply because of the cost of parts for this car and the difficult accessibility to certain areas. I adore the horsepower and performance of the car, but just cant keep up with $4000/year in maintenance costs.

Good with 125,000 miles - 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue
By Ed - May 25 - 9:36 pmI bought my Oldsmobile Intrigue with 13,000 miles on it. It has over 125,000 on it now. I have had two problems with it. At 75,000 miles it needed a new A/C compressor and at 110,000 miles it needed a new water pump. It is almost all city miles. I have been very happy with it. Before this I owned a Dodge. It was in the shop all the time. This car goes in once a year for inspection and thats it.

Best Car! - 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue
By BB - May 21 - 11:56 pmMy 2000 Intrigue has 250K miles on it and the only issue Ive had is a hairline crack in the coolant tank and an axle that had to be replaced. As a single working mother of 4 kids this car has been a lifesaver. There is nothing worse than having an unreliable car. I am currently looking for the same year model car as a back up for this car. Im not sure how much longer it can go but it just keeps on going.

Four Wheeled Hand Me Down - 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue
By Preston - May 11 - 1:36 amI got the car from my senior citizen parents. It has 36,000 miles on it. It is clean and good driving once in motion. It has a problem with not going into gear out of park when it is cool until the car is warmed up for at least five to eight minutes. No mater how hard I push that shift button, it wont budge. The dealer says "I dont know what it can be just bring it in. Right. But the car itself is very likable. It is bright and with good visibility. If it wasnt for the transmission problem (shifter), Id keep it over my 1995 Cougar, but one has to go and with 127,000 miles the Cougar still purrrs along so Intrigue while its otherwise a very pleasant car has to go.

Great car for the money! - 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue
By lynziee - May 4 - 2:00 am210,000 miles and still going. This car just wont die. Ive put over 150,000 miles on this car myself and have never replaced more than the tires and oil filter. Granted, the turn signals and gas gage are no longer working. Almost every interior dash light is on, and the steering seems to be going out....the engine just keeps on running! I wrote this car off about 50,000 miles ago but nope, shes still kicking. Also, still gets aroun 28-30 miles to the gallon. Have to keep track by hand no so I dont run out out gas but hey, she doesnt owe me anything at this point.
