This Year's Model Updates:

This Nissan Versa is an all-new vehicle for 2007. This affordable subcompact makes a name for itself with a roomy interior and many standard and optional features. A hatchback body style debuts first, with a sedan coming out later in the year.

Pros:
  • Large interior with simple but attractive control layout, solid quality cabin materials, wide selection of features, comfortable rear seat.
Cons:
  • Noisy powertrain at high revs, vague steering, less than athletic handling and braking, more expensive than competing models.

  • 2007 versa commuter - 2007 Nissan Versa

I drive 100 miles daily and find the Versa to have good comfort. 4 big men can ride in it no problem. I like the 6 speed manual but a lot of time spent in stop and go traffic will leave you worn out. The only problems Ive had is excessive cranking at startup. Took it to the dealer twice and they changed parts but couldnt fix the problem. I suspect a relay but it usually is no problem.

  • Great Value - 2007 Nissan Versa

Have driven the car for 2 months, nearly 1500 miles. You get a lot of value for your money. Gas mileage has been 31-32 mpg for mostly non-highway commute, very respectable. The cars got enough pep and great brakes with the ABS option. The interior exceeds expectations. It does have some quirks - gets a little loose at highway speeds (probably could improve with better tires), the rear suspension is soft (go slow over speed bumps) and oddities like no temp gauge (instead goofy LEDs) and the glove box light only comes on with the exterior lights. Not the sportiest car but for the price it has exceeded my expectations. If it yields long term reliability then Nissans got a winner here.

  • Drive a versa now - 2007 Nissan Versa

4 weeks ago , I didnt even know what a versa was. I drove a honda fit and about had a fit. It felt like a clown car. I drove a toyota yaris and it was the noisest car Ive ever driven. I accidently sat in a sold versa, closed the door, turned on the stereo, and almost fell asleep in a comfortable seat. The customer couldnt get financed and after I went on a 25 mile demo ride , I bought the car. The cvt tranny is a joy. Quiet, roomy interior,no blind spots, great gas milage ,cold cold air conditioning, blue tooth tech, keyless ignition and a great look. I have never bought a car without researching it for a week and driving it 3 demo times, but this car is different. It says BUY ME NOW !!!

  • a lot of blind spots - 2007 Nissan Versa

The hachback window is small and not enogh veiw out of it. The post from the side rear windows to the hachback window is to broad that is where the blind spots are. The stupid tringle windows in driver and passengers side windows are also a distraction. The sticker said 25 mpg,in town and 36 mpg highway. Well I have not done much highway driving yet but I do not get any where near 25 mpg where I live and I live in the country.

  • Get it all at a small price - 2007 Nissan Versa

By far the best car that I have owned so far! I have only had minor problems with my Versa since purchase and all have been fixed quickly by warranty. The dealership I went to in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, "Beaver County Auto," was amazing and I would recommend them and the Versa to everyone. If you can swing it the SL with the CRV transmission is great! No more feeling your car shift into gears and with all the extra features you feel like youre driving a sports car. I will be a Nissan driver for life!

Our 5dr SL is a very comfortable car. The rear seat legroom is excellent! I really enjoy the smoothness of the CVT. The handling is surprising also. Im used to driving high performance sports cars, and this vehicle makes me feel at home behind the wheel. BRAVO Nissan!

  • HOW DOES THIS EVEN HAPPEN? - 2007 Nissan Versa

okay so I received a 2007 Nissan Versa for christmas in 2006 - nice gift huh? WRONG. I drove the car to the grocery store and was dropping my fiance off at the house. He grabbed the bags & when he shut the door ALL OF THE AIRBAGS IN MYCAR DEPLOYED IN MY FACE! I was pissed went to the nissan dealership & it took 9 MONTHS TO FIX IT To make matters even worse when I got to the nissan dealership they tried to hand me the bill & make me pay it when the corporate office said it was warrantied add that to the jacked up transmission horrible quality of the plastic & metal, broken tire pressure sensor & o2 sensor brake light wiring issues and nissan & theyre cheap car can go to you know where

  • Excellent - 2007 Nissan Versa

The car engine is very good. Mileage is not that what they advertise but it is definitely worth buying the car especially if you are not looking for anything which is fancy. Interior is very comfortable and airy and has lots of space. The car design is different than new versions like Fit and 2007 Hatchback of Hyundai but it is different and unique.

  • Completely AWESOME - 2007 Nissan Versa

I love my Versa, and Ill be sad when I have to trade it in soon due to having another child. The one thing I dont like is that it wont fit three car seats ha ha ha. I have had negligible problems with my Versa. I have never "lost" a hubcap due to fly off or fall off, just to other versa owners STEALING them. I am surprised that another owner has expressed problem with the interior noise as I sometimes cannot tell if it is on or not it is so quiet. I have had it in the shop only for Nissan notified issues and regular maintenance. I agree, replacements hubcaps are too expensive. I get a reasonable gas mileage at 27 city, 33 highway.
