This Year's Model Updates:

This Nissan Versa is an all-new vehicle for 2007. This affordable subcompact makes a name for itself with a roomy interior and many standard and optional features. A hatchback body style debuts first, with a sedan coming out later in the year.

Pros:
  • Large interior with simple but attractive control layout, solid quality cabin materials, wide selection of features, comfortable rear seat.
Cons:
  • Noisy powertrain at high revs, vague steering, less than athletic handling and braking, more expensive than competing models.

GREAT CAR! I absolutely love my new Nissan. I get great gas mileage, its sporty to drive, and the interior space is very efficient and user friendly. I would reccomend this car to anyone who has a limited budget.

I needed a car to commute to and from work. I decided on the Versa after carefully considering Sentra and Frontier. I drove each vehicle for a couple days and the choice was obvious after driving Versa. All the options and room of the more expensive Sentra, and nearly twice the gas mileage of Frontier. Im getting 33 mpg and Ill be the first to admit I have a very heavy foot. Interior room is unbelievable. Im 61" 300 lbs and theres plenty of room to spare in the front and rear.

Just purchased this Versa S hatchback with Auto and second tank I got a little over 40 mpg with less than 600 miles. Thats higher than the epa. The last tank was rural driving mostly betweeen 40 and 60 mph.

I researched all the small hatchbacks/wagons. Vibe, Scion, Fit. The Versa gets good gas mileage. I drive mostly highway at around 70 and am averaging 32 MPG. I live in the mountains and have no problem with power or curves. This car is roomy and comfortable/ My 65" husband has no problems with fit. I am more than pleased and would make the purchase again. Loved the price!

  • Very good small car! - 2007 Nissan Versa

Comfortable small car thats roomy (back seats have easy entry and more leg room than most larger cars). This car is safe - 4 star rating bumper to bumper. The last tankfull MPG. was 36.2 in city and some highway use (very pleased!). Use slower takeoffs at lights and easy braking. You cant punch it to get great MPG! Dont worry, this car has plenty of power in city and on the highways! And the control and feel is secure even at high speeds. One thing we dont like is on bad roads you feel the bumps! But this is a small car after all. Make sure you test drive it on some bumpy roads! I got the best mpg and ride with the tires at 33 PSI.

Im a college student and I bought this car because it was cheap, cute, and great on gas. It really hasnt let me down. Ive had it for about a year now and have put over 9000 miles on it (Im a commuter). My friends dont mind driving with me because of all the space and leg room. Its tiny and easy to park - it only takes up about half the parking space! Overall, besides a few things, Im content with the Versa.

I went in to just shop for a price of the sentra. I had been looking and pricing the Kias, Hondas, Toyotas. When I saw the Versa I was amazed how roomy it was inside. I test drove it for about 1/2 hour; High speed hwy and city. It was responsive, quick and fun to drive. It has a high headroom even from the outside. Its very European looking. Its unusually long too. It was cheaper than the Sentra and I bought the only one on the lot with no second thoughts. I am sure Im going to love this car for a long time. So far there doesnt seem to be much written on it yet. But Nissan has a sure fire hit on their hands. Its fun and sporty. Well done Nissan!!!!

I have it for 1 week. I The back seat fits three adults comfortably. The turning radius is unbelievable. Although the seats are extra wide, they are too cushy. The driver seat is already indented and I have it for 1 week. Im looking for a rebuilder that will redo the seat for a few hundred dollars.

  • Excellent Value for Money - 2007 Nissan Versa

Value for money, I dont think this car can be beat. I own the SL version (with optional CVT) and have been very impressed with every aspect of this car. It has just about every safety feature as standard equipment. The seats are large and comfortable. And theres actually a lot of space in the trunk area - even without the rear seats down. We were considering the Honda Fit but found it uncomfortable. The Fits shorter wheelbase, smaller tires and thinner seats made for a jarring ride at times.

  • Its great to own a Versa - 2007 Nissan Versa

Great car, had Hondas previously and like the Versa so much better, and the top of technology put into it and having a look of a European car. In black its really cool looking, drives great and has a great sound system. You never see the hood of the car, you look out your windshield and only see the road, really different then any car Ive ever driven.
