Overview & Reviews
This Nissan Versa is an all-new vehicle for 2007. This affordable subcompact makes a name for itself with a roomy interior and many standard and optional features. A hatchback body style debuts first, with a sedan coming out later in the year.
- Large interior with simple but attractive control layout, solid quality cabin materials, wide selection of features, comfortable rear seat.
- Noisy powertrain at high revs, vague steering, less than athletic handling and braking, more expensive than competing models.

I love this car! - 2007 Nissan Versa
By astrosjunkie - August 16 - 7:13 pmThis is my first car w/ any automatic/keyless feature and I love it! Just crossed the 2000 mile mark and getting 32-34mpg mixed ciy/hwy driving. The crash test results came out right before I bought this car and I feel safer. Visibility seeing out while driving is awesome. The standard audio package sounds great and Ive had so many people tell me that they cant believe how much room is inside for a "small" car. Love the exterior-- sleek-almost european/mini-cooper like. Love the fabric/interior-plush. Handling is great and the ride is smooth, but could use a higher quality/performance or slightly larger tire.

Incredible Car for the Price - 2007 Nissan Versa
By FlightNurse - June 28 - 3:40 pmMy Versa was the second one sold at the dealership I got it from. Mine is SL w/CVT, the only package I have is the Convience Package, which for $700 is a bargain... Ive had for 3 days and have 195 miles, but I love this car. The Blue Tooth and Intelli-Key are features that should be made standard on ALL CARS. I looked at the FIT, Yaris and Rabbit. None in my book comes close to the Versa in space and Options. I paid $16,500, leased it w/1834 out of pocket (was my trade in) payments of $268/m for 24 months and 15K yr. Nissan has a VERY good lease on this car...

Big inside - 2007 Nissan Versa
By Patrick - June 21 - 3:50 pmNice smooth big car feel, Im a 62 guy and there is more than enough room inside for 4 big people without moving your seat up for the person in the back. More room and power than Yaris and Honda Fit. Excelent.

Red Fun - 2007 Nissan Versa
By Diane - May 30 - 3:53 amI love this vehicle and am happy to own it. The only disappointment is that the reported mpg is not accurate and although the dealership assured me the the standards are not based on real time driving and is inaccurate for all vehicles, I felt the advertising for 30- 36 mpg to be misleading. I have only once gotten 30 mpg in over 6000 miles and that tank wasnt a highway driving trip. Ive driven it from Tucson to LA and got no better mileage then around town. It has great space inside and rides comfortably and smoothly. It feels solid when compared to my 96 Toyota Rav.

Im Lovin My New Versa!! - 2007 Nissan Versa
By Will - April 8 - 12:00 pmJust went out last weekend and purchased a new Nissan Versa and Im absolutely lovin it!! What a great car and thats coming from a former Toyota Camry owner. I plan to take a few trips down to the Bay Area in about a week or so and visit friends and family and for once gas mileage (as well as the cost of gas) wont be an issue since this little baby laughs each time I drive by a Chevron, Shell or Mobil. Gotta sit down this weekend and go over the manual... still trying to learn the audio/stereo system which by the way is da bomb. 6-CD changer, MP3 player, 6 speakers... man, what more could an audiophile ask for in a car! Da-da- ta-ta-ta... Im lovin it!

Great little car - 2007 Nissan Versa
By Kelly - February 5 - 11:50 amI looked at the Versa, the Fit and the Yaris, and for me this was the best of the three for several reasons including available features, safety rating, performance and roominess. CVT was a plus, as well as the larger gas tank size. Its fun to drive and cute to look at. It looks and feels a lot more expensive than the sticker price. It gets loud when accelerating to higher speeds, but once speed is achieved, the ride is smooth and quite. Wish ABS was available without adding additional equipment. For mixed highway/city driving I get about 32 mpg, and thats improving each time I fill up. Its a great commuter car thats easy on the budget, well designed and one of the best in its class.

Loving it!! - 2007 Nissan Versa
By john2216 - January 29 - 9:30 pmIve had it for about 6 months now and approaching 5100 miles. Lots of room when compared to the honda fit or the scion xa....mileage isnt bad, Im getting about 31 mpg.lots of engine noise though especially when ac is on. every now and then I do feel something strange with the suspension especially when making hard turns. Best sub compact on the market today for the value.

Loaded Versa & Lovin It!! - 2007 Nissan Versa
By Jeff & Alie - January 8 - 3:16 pmMy wife and I test drove everything out there $5K above and below the price of the Versa and were hard pressed to find anything that truly compared. Leg, head and foot room are amazing in both the front and rear seats and the ride is that of a car two classes higher. Ride noise is minimal at worst and handling is better than most in this size group. The car was suppose to be a third car, one my wife could use to show clients properties way out of town, but has quickly become the vehicle of choice for the first one out of the house in the morning. If youre considering a Fit, Civic, Corolla, Matrix, Focus or anything of the such, give the Versa a try and see the value for yourself.

peterpat - 2007 Nissan Versa
By peter j monchino - December 28 - 2:10 pmAlthough compact, the interior feels like a full size car. The front seats are extra comfortable. The pick-up and ride is extremely smooth. It is extremely stylish in comparison with the other comparable small compact cars. I being 61" felt more comfortable and roomy in the Versa. The sound sytem is great. The cargo space is adequte considering the back seats fold down. The car itself feels solid with protected air bags from front and sides. For the price, style, size and equipment, I am certainly pleased with the design, comfort and reliablity.
