This Year's Model Updates:

This Nissan Versa is an all-new vehicle for 2007. This affordable subcompact makes a name for itself with a roomy interior and many standard and optional features. A hatchback body style debuts first, with a sedan coming out later in the year.

Pros:
  • Large interior with simple but attractive control layout, solid quality cabin materials, wide selection of features, comfortable rear seat.
Cons:
  • Noisy powertrain at high revs, vague steering, less than athletic handling and braking, more expensive than competing models.

  • Nifty car with large interior - 2007 Nissan Versa

This car really has delivered so far in the few months we have had it. Smooth and quiet on the road with good pickup acceleration. The six cd player is great and the ride is smooth and quite quiet on the highway. ABS and side airbags are great safety features. I am constantly comparing this vehicle with a 2001 Toyota Corolla which I have owned since purchased new. Pros over the Corolla so far: 1. Higher seat (its adjustable) 2. More room, particularly foot room in the back seat. Negatives: 1. Ride seems a bit harsher on rough roads (but fine on the highway) 2. Doesnt seem to hold the road quite as well on exit ramps (profile of car is higher, probably reason why).

  • Husband stole my car! - 2007 Nissan Versa

I bought this car for a run around car since it has great gas mileage. My Husband drives a Truck and has said he would never down size to a car I have had this car for a little over a month and I have only driven it three times because my husband had to take it one day while his truck tire was being fixed and now he takes it every day. He is considering trading his truck in for another Versa. We are very pleased with the power it has.

  • Awesome!! - 2007 Nissan Versa

My first "big/small" car. Just love the CVT, comfort, ride, silence, music system, and room. My first fill up with a new engine and town driving only was 32 mpg - cant wait to try it on the highway!!

  • Great Buy! - 2007 Nissan Versa

If you have not driven this car with the CVT trans, you are missing something special. Big car inside, small car outside. Excellent field of view all around. Handles like a sports car. The interior style is just enough.

  • What a great car! - 2007 Nissan Versa

I just got this car last week, and I love it. I had a van and was worried that it would be hard to adjust to a smaller vehicle, but it wasnt. The Versa has a lot of head room and driver and passengers sit up fairly high. There is a lot of room in this little car. And I love the way it looks. It drives nicely and has a lot of pep, too. I havent had it long enough to check if the mileage is as advertised, but Im sure itll be better than the van.

  • Good Purchase - 2007 Nissan Versa

I bought the SL with the CVT. It is so much fun to drive this car. I am already getting 32 MPG. I love the interior room too. I have only had the car for 3 days but I can already tell this was a smart decision to buy this car. If youre looking for good mileage and reliability, this little gem is worth a look.

  • Versa is better than fit - 2007 Nissan Versa
    By -

I have driven both versa and fit. since i am a woman i was having hard time with front view in fit. it has no height adjustment. Its suspension is stiff (may be sporty) and the seats are weak. The only positive i have seen is it is a Honda and the magic seats. I was disappointed with what honda gave. Whereas in Nissan you can never beat the interior space in any nissan they are spacious. But one important thing i found that it has height adjustment and also the interior was 1000% superior than fit as the material used was used in luxury versions of Nissan. if getting for the same price i would go with nissan as most women have the problem of viewing th road clearly and it is a lot roomier thx

  • Wow - 2007 Nissan Versa

Have looked for months for a new car,and as gas went up size went down, was waiting for this model to come out, test drove a scion and said well this isnt too sm so lets go see if the Nissan is out,, Stock was very limited but they had one that had most of what I wanted. Was impressed that with 4 in the car had no prob going 75 up hill, very roomy and take some getting used to not hearing shifting gears, fun on curvy roads and easy to park. drive over 300mi a week so shall see what milage will get. its very easy to speed as one person said.

  • The Little Car That Could - 2007 Nissan Versa

This car is amazing for several reasons. The gas mileage is great, I average 30 in-town (as advertised). The CVT continues to get smoother with each mile. Compared to other cars in its class it has more horsepower so although this is no power machine, it will get up and go more than others like it. It handles well on the road, has excellent turn radius for curvy roads and city parking. You will notice immediately getting in this car that the head room is amazing which means it feels spacious and you have a great perspective on the road. This car does not look or feel like an economy car, inside or out, but could not be more economic for the price, emissions, gas mileage, and reliability!

  • I love my new Versa! - 2007 Nissan Versa
    By -

I took my 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8 in for warranty service (rear brake drums needed replaced at 8563 miles! =( ) and walked over to the showroom while waiting for my car to be worked on. I took a test drive of the new Versa, and fell in love! I brought my new Versa home last night, and cant wait to get in it and drive some more! The shifter takes some getting used to as I have only ever driven a standard-H pattern manual before, but its so much fun! My children have more room in the backseat now, and the seats are very cushy and comfy! I had to go with a lower model - no cruise control like I had in the Sentra - but since I hardly used it anyway, no major loss! Great job Nissan!
