Overview & Reviews
The 2009 Nissan Rogue is largely unchanged from last year.
- Carlike driving manners, smooth ride, well-crafted interior, comfortable front seating, first-rate braking, excellent optional Bose audio.
- Lacks the cargo room and versatility of competing crossovers, ill-suited transmission, poor rearward visibility.

Love to drive it - 2009 Nissan Rogue
By calchill - January 25 - 9:36 pmWe have had this car for 3 months and we love it soo much. We dont drive very much but it seems we always find an excuse to take it for a spin. Car has everything we wanted. Sunroof very easy to use and with the deflector added makes it even better. Like the trip computer as u can keep track of mpg or how many miles u have left before refueling.

Nissan Rogue - 2009 Nissan Rogue
By Donna Raposo - October 7 - 3:56 pmTook it to the mountains this summer, brakes buck and vibrate when braking going down hill. Very difficult to back up or change lanes due to back windows being too narrow to see out of. Makes whistling noise when going over 60 mph. Very annoying. Also, makes weird humming noise when slowing down. Recall on transmission. But they did extend my transmission warranty to 10 years or 120000 miles due to the recall. Otherwise, I do like my vehicle. It does drive very smooth and it handles well. Plus the bose stereo is awesome.

Rogue is Best- It beats the rest! - 2009 Nissan Rogue
By Jimbo Driver - August 15 - 11:50 amI drove the rav4, forester, patriot, crv,& escape. I have to say in terms of build quality, fit & finish, style, safety & comfort the Nissan Rogue won me over. Everything feels substantial - doors closing, handling, engine. The car is refined and sporty. The cabin is comfortable and all controls are logical (except for the missing radio dial for tuning). The car handles well. Steering is exact. Brakes are strong. In rain and snow the car goes where you direct it. I feel comfortable and safe in this car. Drive one!

Amazing Value - Great Car - 2009 Nissan Rogue
By Nisaan Lover - July 19 - 2:56 amAfter looking at all cross overs, finally settled on the rogue. It was the best value for money for me. Great features, styling. Also drives very well. I have owned this for 6 months and have no complaints what so ever.

Fun to drive! - 2009 Nissan Rogue
By Sherrice - June 29 - 2:03 amI have had this car nearly a month and all I can say is wow! I replaced my much loved Pathfinder with this and I could not be happier. Yes, I lose space and some off-road capability (which I did not use much anyway), but the handling is terrific. I feel like I am in a sports car! Now I look for excuses to drive and I can because it uses a lot less gas than my Pathy. I totally recommend this little crossover to anyone who needs utility with a great sporty ride. Buy it for the fun of it!

Great 2 years! - 2009 Nissan Rogue
By lexky - June 19 - 12:40 amWe have owned our Rogue for a little over 2 years with about 28,000 miles and have only had to have one thing fixed by warranty. Climate control dials that are supposed to light up during the night went out. Very happy with our purchase!

Youll love this baby.... - 2009 Nissan Rogue
By Michelle - May 1 - 12:26 amI just drove my new Rogue SL off the lot and I must tell you - its fun to drive, sexy and I absolutely love it. My 2006 CRV SE was coming off lease so I was looking for a smooth ride, comfort and curb appeal. This vehicle will not disappoint you. If youve looked at the CR-V, Rav4, Subaru Forester and cant make up your mind... take one of these for a spin. Youll love the room, fold-down seats, rear storage compartments.

Stunning Car - 2009 Nissan Rogue
By Moodles - August 18 - 3:56 pmWe absolutely love this vehicle. We had looked at the Honda Civic but this is head and shoulders over the Civic. Its much more stylish and a joy to drive. Very reliable, weve had no problems with ours at all. A great vehicle.

Best in Show! - 2009 Nissan Rogue
By Jimmy D - June 4 - 2:20 amThere is no perfect small suv/crossover. The Rogue holds less cargo than a Forester, has one row of seats less than a Rav4,lacks the visibility of a CRV. However, it is perfect for me. The fit & finish is great, as is the engine. It has 5star crash rating and beats Ford with a stronger roof. In many ways this car is very basic- no leather, compass, or elec.locks. But it has such personality! It has a nice rear, each color pops and looks silky (even those orange ones). The CVT works well and the mini computer helps as well. I had owned a Chrysler product & went back to shop- Patriot, Compass, Liberty are all inferior products as is the Escape,Impreza,& 09Equinox.

Drives like a sports sedan - 2009 Nissan Rogue
By JohnC. - April 28 - 12:13 pmThe Rogue handles extremely well for a smallish SUV and road comfort is very good. While styling is subjective, the best selling point is a 20 min test drive. The stereo is exceptional in the SL and gas mileage was a big surprise.
