Nissan adds a roadster to the 350Z lineup. Available in Enthusiast and Touring variants, the 2004 Nissan 350Z roadster offers the same performance and handling as the Z coupe but with the added fun of top-down driving. In other news, satellite radio (either XM or Sirius) is a new option this year for the Touring version of the coupe.

• Smooth and powerful V6 engine, excellent handling, available drop-top version, a bargain compared to anything that can run with it.

• Rough ride on Track model, some low-grade interior materials, lack of luggage space, poor rearward visibility.

  After driving my Triumph TR-6 for the last 32 years, it was time to get a sports car that I could contimue to enjoy. The 350 is just terrific and $50,000 less that the Porsche, every bit as fast, and looks even better. I purchased the Touring model (Silverstone) 6 speed, and put on high performance wheels which are a knockout. Love the car and it is so much fun to drive. It turns on a dime and the 6 CD is terrific. I give this car a 10 all the way around. Thanks so much.

  Awesome machine - 2004 Nissan 350Z

  This car is a dream come true! Its a car that makes heads turn. Great acceleration and awesome handling. The vehicle dynamic control system helps adjust power to the wheels. Stability bars front and rear keep the car stable. Accelerate the car to his speed and its extremely stable - doesnt feel like youre going fast. Suspension is tight so youll feel the road. Also, due to high torque, and wide tires, this car does not handle snow and ice. Best to keep it in the garage on snowy days and take it out when the roads dry out.

  Outstanding performance, lots of power, great ride. 3.5L deliveres G-force acceleration, great in turns. Two sitter with plenty of room. Storage compartments are out of reach is the only con I have against the car.

  This is the best sports coupe you can buy for under $40,000. Theres no other like it. Take one for a drive and youll love the interior and ride. Lots of Sport mixed with a lil Luxury. If your bank account isnt large enough to purchase a Porsche then this car is the next best thing. Performance is nice and the MPG is good. Nissan reliability is a major reason I chose the 350z.

  We actually bought the 350Z Roadster for my wife as a daily driver. After comparing the others in this class, we found the Z to have the most interior room, power, standard equipment (Bose stereo, heated seats, variable traction control and cruise control), and the lowest sticker price. You cant beat a 287 hp, convertable! Did I mention only 3000 imported for the US market this year, and no scheduled maintenance for 100K miles. And at our local dealer, free oil changes for a year. Look and compare them all, afterwards you will buy the 350Z. This vehicle insured, with everything, for about a thousand a year.

  Good Morning to All, My wife and I was looking for a car we both could have fun with. She was looking for style and ease of driving, and I was looking for performance. With this car, we found both. Im 62" and 240 pounds and I fit well, and she is 52" 105 pounds and she can adjust the everything to fit her needs. This car is a true winner. After driving the SLK series (the worst), the Audi TT Roadster (ho-hum), and a Corvette Roadster (not bad for a second choice but got pricy with options), and the 350ZR (the winner)!!! This was what we were looking for. Good fit and finish, handling, eye appeal and fit our budget.
