Overview & Reviews
Minor changes make their way onto the Mitsubishi Outlander for 2009, including optional three-row seating on SE trims and various interior upgrades for XLS models. In addition, the optional navigation system for the XLS now includes a rear back-up camera, and the nav system's hard-drive storage capacity has been upped from 30GB to 40GB. The midlevel LS trim has been dropped from the lineup.
- Agile handling, sporty styling, useful rear tailgate/liftgate design, top safety scores, wide range of features, lengthy warranty.
- Limited access to desirable options, a few low-grade plastics, kid-size third-row seat is flimsy and hard to fold.

Good value if you dont drive a lot - 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander
By nicole - January 22 - 11:03 amHere is an update from 5/09. If you are easy on the gas pedal you will be rewarded with avg mileage of up to 30+mpg. Seat covers and rubber material on dash are poor - they are dust and hair magnets. Bad choice. I drive 100 miles, 5 days per week. I do not have lumbar/back problems, I do now. My back is aching, seats are extremely uncomfortable. Good value if you dont drive a lot. Otherwise, look at something else or get leather, maybe that helps.
