  I just bought my 2003 CL55 about one week ago. I have to say that I have bags under my eyes from lack of sleep because all I want to do is drive my car. If you want a head turner, this is the car.

  do usual in depth checks. buy a vehicle that was local and was a cpo. mine has 80k and checked out fine. i only drive it on weekends. my mechanic said this will be fine. if driving the usual 15k/yr, just be ready for the usual expensive repairs. i had lexus sc430. benz has more of that 1 piece porsche feel to it vs lexus and more fun to drive. also liked the classic long nose look like old jag xk and sc400. lots of stuff you dont need but work with the manuel and all techno stuff gets easier to use. of course more stuff means more possible problems. buying used is great way to beat the big depreciation. the more i play with it, the more i like it. no mpg but dont care. didnt buy it for mpg

  The CL500 comes close to meeting my expectations. Most features of this uber-machine are on a par with any super coupe on the planet. The exterior styling is elegant but understated. The engine and drivetrain are beyond comparison. The interior improvements over all other MB models sold me on the car. I am still disappointed that the floor carpeting and headliner material is less luxurious than my previous Lexus LS430. The dash (all leather), the seats, the center console and the instrument cluster are all amazing manifestations of the art of automotive design. Well done MB.

  this is my 2nd cl 500 ,as the first one (2003), was deliverd to me demaged from merceds benz... and after some"persuation" was bought back from me and replaced. this car is beautifull to look at ,inside out but very quirky on many levels--- ride is mushy ,handling is ok but its no beamer, too many rattles and noises coming at you from all directions. this is not what youd expect from $100k car! my first(or shall i say second)mb ,and the last one! please ,drive me to the nearest bmw dealership!

  love car and beauty. parktronic keeps getting knocked out. had a rough start with audio system...not fixed....recommend only if u can spare time to take it into being repaired
